Also, Tifa and Aerith's named were switched, and Sora is now Cloud and Yuffie's love child raised by Terra Bradford and Onion Knight.

And I still think Cloud is very, very lame for not following up the cheeky "Next to you, who wouldn't [sleep well]?" line at the beginning of the game much sooner.

To be fair, he didn't get a good chance to use it in the little less than six weeks til that day, two of which he spent in an 'oog oog' coma, and most of the rest he spent in rage or panic. Kid moved pretty fast.

The only problem I see with that. And it's just a small little one. Is that Cloud as soon as Aerith it out of immediate danger, tries to ditch her in the middle of the night. And return to Tifa nonetheless.

IMO Cloud would have protected Aerith from Reno and those grunts without need for payment. And Aerith offering herself up was not the deciding factor. Thus once she is safe he feels perfectly fine sneaking off.

Or you think Cloud really was interested in a date with Aerith. But was so worried about Tifa that he ditches Aerith in the middle of the night.

Tifa is a young girl in Nibelheim who is hired as a guide to lead Sephiroth and Zack to the mako excavation facility. She is not a fan of Shinra and, although she admits to desiring a blonde-haired soldier operative for a boyfriend, she does not have a lot of nice things to say about soldier.

Link to FFVII:
Tifa meets Cloud in Nibelheim during the events of CRISIS CORE and their friendship carries over to FINAL FANTASY VII. Tifa has always liked Cloud and enjoys helping him restore his memory when they reunite in FINAL FANTASY VII. She ultimately lets her feelings be known near the end of FINAL FANTASY VII and the two can be seen living together during the evens of Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus.

It's just another quote that makes it clear that Tifa wanted Cloud as a boyfriend, and those feelings were made known at the end of FFVII, and those feelings have been said to match and said to be mutual on several different occasions... and they're living together so... yeah

Anyone know if that Crisis Core Guide is canon? or w/e it is? Can we possibly get the Japanese on this?
