The game has a game breaking bug that needs patching ASAP!!! (Chapter 10 Spoilers)

So I was in the middle of fighting the last boss of chapter 10 when suddenly the game skipped to the end of the fight. After that I was stuck in battle mode, the area was dark and I can't seem to go anywhere. Everytime I reload last checkpoint the game just brings me back to the same point. However when I tried the retry last battle option the game brings me back to the boss fight, but this time there is no music, and when I got the boss down to half the health bar it just disappeared, and then my characters was just there with nothing to fight. My last save point was 3 hours ago and I really don't want to do everything all over again.
It seems that this glitch/bug is not unique to me. I've found other posts and videos that has the same problem. Here are some videos that demonstrate the problem:
