I just binged what appears to be the first season (10 episodes, and episode 10 is very "leading into the next season" stuff).

It was pretty damn great! Might have more thoughts later.

Loved the series so far, my only gripe has been that they made Vanya's character far too easy to dislike XD
Other than that have loved the series and think Klaus is fantastic.....though that may be because the actor who plays him was also amazing in misfits.

I dunno, I didn't dislike Vanya at all. I mean, art is subjective and all that shit, but she felt pretty well laid out to me. Like, I could fully understand her actions and feelings and such/ I could empathise, so I didn't dislike her.

holy shit did I feel creeped out by Leonard from the get go! There was always something I didn't like about him.

Also Klaus was utterly fantastic! In terms of overall character+actor portrayal, I'd rank 'em as follows: Klaus, Five, Hazel, The Handler, Ben, Leonard, Allison, Diego, Cha Cha, Agnes, Vanya, Pogo, Grace, Luther. Not that I thought any of the acting was bad, just that some was a bit more flat? Then again, some characters are a bit more flat.

we actually got to go back and see him in Vietnam in love, like when it looked like they skipped over that juicy lil bit of development I was shaking my fist but yaaaay they made good on it

I love things like this that kinda focus on characters and their interactions, especially when they're of the dysfunctional sort that's the good stuff. Reaaalllyyyyy hope as they've been greenlit for a second season there's more Ben in it cos he's AWESOME and his whole dynamic with Klaus was excellleeenntttt imo.

Ben is just the chillest dude. Even early on when you see a bit of him as a kid, he's so laid back, it's awesome.

Also re: ellen page is it just me or does every character she plays always look exhausted? Like, she's quite pretty, I'm not dissing her at all, but either she or her makeup always looks like she just didn't quite get a full nights sleep.
