Fangu
Great Old One
I'm fond of the little green smilies that comes with vB, but because there are so many oversized images in the smilies/ macros list in the category "Cookie Monster etc" it's a pain opening up the "Smilies" popup when I'm writing posts. (I don't have a hhuuuuuuuuge monitor like some you peoples!)
So I derped around with the getsmilies() function in vB to see if it took arguments like "getcat=generic" or "getcategory=0" or whatever, but after googling it it doesn't look like misc.php (or any of the other files) allows for a getcategory() function to send things to getsmilies(), so I couldn't work that out. As in no way of showing just the generic smilies in a query.
So I decided to make my own library. So here's like an easy list of the generic smilies that are available. I still wish there were more smilies in the "hug and love" category! Who do I have to sleep with to get that done?
Note that {space} means I've inserted a "space" that has to be removed to make the smiley work. Also, all the smilies that are :nameofsmiley: are listed as : nameofsmiley: to prevent the actual smiley for showing. (Using the code tag was out of the question as that would make the list super long as I would have to use it for each smiley, since the img tag just spells out in the code tag.)
