Uh... the links don't seem to work for me. That said, I'm torn between the plush Tifa and Diamond Weapon. This is one of the tricky aspects because I feel like they're completely different categories of art, and doubtless each took a tremendous amount of time and effort. I think I'm going to go with Diamond Weapon just for the visual aesthetic; it has a Final Fantasy meets H.R. Giger look to it.

I'm fixated on the Tifa Doll by featheredshaft and Yeul and the Heros by Nick-Ian. The plush doll is something I would eagerly pay money for and the style on the last piece somehow reminds me of the art style in the Samurai X movies (lovelovelove):

EDIT: Oh lawdy! The artist has an Etsy shop and Tifa is only $55!

The more I look at this the more I want it. Plus it's got me looking into cross stitching.

I'm so torn. D: I love that Yeul watercolor (watercolors are so beautiful), but I've been a fan of the Diamond Weapon scene for several months now (the artist has done a few more VII scenes, and they're very cool). Also love those amazing cross stitch magnets, such a clever idea, and they won't be breakable.

This is so hard to choose. ;_;

So I'll discuss the three pieces that are tied right now. Come on y'all, feel free to chime in!
Interesting selection, because there's two artisan crafts and one digital drawing.

Tifa Doll:
A really adorable amigurumi doll that has a ton of details in it. She looks so adorable and squishable! Definitely a cute, cuddly appeal to this one. You could have her sitting on your bed or dresser for display.

FFVI Magnets:
The fact that these are cross stitched and look like their SNES pixel counterparts is amazing. And even better, they have a practical use as magnets, so you can hang stuff on your fridge and do it in a nerdy style. I mean a beautiful style. I mean retro.

Diamond Weapon Painting:
Who doesn't love epic scenes from older games recreated into realistic paintings? This has a lot of detail and it's perhaps an insight now into how the remake could potentially look during this scene. No practical applications here except, just some nice eye candy. A beautiful use of warm and cool colors as well, with the warm sun behind Diamond Weapon and the cool colors of the mako coming from Midgar.


All three of these have one thing in common: They were all made with dedication and love for their respective counterparts/games.

As much as I would love a set of those FFVI magnets, I can't resist voting for the Diamond Weapon piece.

Gave it to the Tifa doll. Diamond Weapon's scale didn't work for me, Noel and Yeul were pretty nice though.
