Erm, you go to jackbox.tv I think you can sign in with your Twitch log in deets, and then later Flint will give you the code to join the game.

Quiplash guide

Voice chat: You'll need a microphone and headphones (or a headset) and Skype if you want to do voice chat. Add me on Skype ("Estesark") if you haven't already.

Getting ready: Start by opening my stream on Twitch. If you plan to be on Skype, you'll want to mute the stream, but if you can't take part in the voice chat, leave the sound on so you can hear the other players. You can communicate with us using Twitch chat (to the right of the stream). Anyone who just wants to watch without taking part is also more than welcome to do so.

Joining the game: After I set up the game, I'll send out a four-letter room code to everyone taking part. You'll need to go to Jackbox.tv to enter the code. You can do this on your phone, tablet or your desktop browser. If you have both my Twitch stream and the game on the same device, you'll want to arrange your windows so you can see both at the same time. You can log in to Jackbox with your Twitch account by clicking the cog in the top-left corner, or you can just enter your name manually.

How to play: Make sure you have the stream open so you can see what's going on. After I start a new round, questions will pop up on Jackbox.tv. Answer them by typing something into the box before time runs out. The timer is on the stream, but be aware that you'll be seeing it with about a 15-second delay, so don't leave your answers to the last moment. Then, once everyone has submitted their answers, vote for your favourites and follow the results on the stream.

That's all there is to it! If we get bored of Quiplash there are other simple games on Jackbox we can try as well. Come one, come all!

We'll probably play other games besides Quiplash as well but they're pretty simple. We're starting in about two hours.

Thats a shame. I mean, I don't wanna be all cliquey and elitist but is there a way that only people who have signed up to TLS can play? I'd even be ok with new people just signing up so they can play. I dunno, I guess it feels a bit weird with random strangers cropping up - especially if they're gonna go all racist or something.

Most of the new people playing were ok, so I guess it went downhill after I'd gone.

That's what we were doing for the most part. But then Twitch bugged out and we went to another site. A guy whose stream had ended brought like 20 people in and we thought it might be a nice time to promote TLS, so we let them play with us. All of their answers were racist and uncomfortable, despite us asking multiple times not to do that.

Yeah, we had plenty of non-TLS folk joining in with no problem on Twitch - it was very handy at the beginning of the stream to make up the numbers - but on Hitbox we were suddenly hit by a bunch of people from someone else's stream (supposedly one of the biggest streamers on the site, which doesn't bode well for it), and the three of them who joined our game all submitted racist answers / voted for each others' racist answers. They didn't stop when we asked them to so I killed the game and started a new one for TLS members only. The viewer count dropped form 27 to 7.

On the plus side, the stream delay on Hitbox is tiny compared to Twitch...

I'm waiting to hear if I have a date for tonight. If I don't, I'll be here. If I do, well, I guess it will depend on how the date goes. I can potentially set up the game and stream for you to play even if I'm not here though.
