^ I wondered that before I said anything and can't for the life of me find a reference image that shows it prior to when we see it fall from her hair in the forgotten capital... which is after she's activated it.

Soooo I got tired of waiting for my molds to come and I decided to just give this a whirl without them:

Made myself a Carbuncle stencil. Painted over it on yupo (translucent plastic).

Added final touches. Applied sealant to keep the colors from yellowing over time. Poured resin; popped bubbles with a flame.




I'll let you all know how this turns out tomorrow.
IF it looks good, I'll trim it up and do the other side with resin as well, pop a keyring in it and ask you guys for opinions. 0.0

Popping bubbles with flames? I remember making stuff like that when I was younger, though I don't have pictures.

Which is exactly what google showed me when I searched for a reference.



EDIT: The resin gets full of air bubbles when you stir it like a maniac, so you pop the bubbles by applying heat from a lighter or some such.

Which is why I was always told to stir gently. I think I popped the bubbles with toothpicks.

I got my TLS logo tshirt and a this guy are sick one. The TLS one isnt great. They can't really print white fading to nothing. The other shirts look like pretty good prints, and the shirt quality is pretty great.

EDIT: Oh and I need some more ideas besides Cookie Monster and Carbuncle.
I still haven't found the right mix of Cthulhu and Cookie Monster to make a Cthulhookiemonster.
