Buried in the Snow, Interrupted By Fireworks, Aerith's Theme, and Can You hear the Cry of the Planet in the one contest? That's just horrifically awful! To choose is to destroy life.

However.... Can you hear the cry of the planet gives me emotions. But so does Interrupted by Fireworks!!!

Screw it, I'm picking Can you.....

I was really stuck between The Forested Temple and You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet, but I had to with the latter of the two.

Why aren't these polls getting any easier? Yeesh.

Hmmm, Aerith's theme is the most memorable for me and one of my favorites but since it will likely be guaranteed a top spot I think I'll go with Interrupted by Fireworks. It really is a nice accompaniment to the moment of reprieve that the Gold Saucer date(s) represent.

It's funny, when I was a kid I really hated You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet. I don't know why. But now I really do like it, I'm not sure exactly where I changed my mind, but it's a great song.

But I might have to go the other way as Avec and go for the Forested Temple. I always liked moving the clock to the beat of the song

I love Forested Temple and Buried in the Snow equally, went with Buried in the Snow just because. Also Interrupted by Fireworks will always be one of my faves.

I like Cinco the Chocobo, and I love Interrupted by Fireworks... but every pondering on the subject pretty much stopped when I saw that Aeris'/ Aerith's Theme is in this one. It has to be that one for me.

Also, Temple of the Ancients... uuggh I spent too much time fiddling inside that temple I grew so sick of it

Also, when does Tango of Tears play?! I've never heard that one!

Yup, that's exactly when it plays. And when you're young and you've just lost a chocobo race, it's truly horrific!

You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet has such a mysterious and haunting quality to it. Absolutely perfect for when you're exploring the ruins of the Forgotten City. That gets my vote.

I do like Buried in the Snow, even if that part of the game was a pain in the butt.

I was torn between You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet and Aerith's theme, but since the latter is on the lead, I voted for the former.

This is the most difficult yet, I actually like Racing Chocobos, Debut, Interrupted by Fireworks, Buried in the Snow and You can hear the cry of the Planet. Going to go for the latter because its so ominous and probably one of the most overlooked tunes in the game.

Fixed. And I will NEVER understand the prevalence of the spelling "Aries." What the hell game was everyone playing? How do you get the E that far off of where it's supposed to be? I just don't get it. (I know this wasn't Pixel's mistake )

You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet is amazing, I feel as though it's almost the song to summerise the Jenova War, it has an anxious tone which really represents peoples emotions of that time.

I voted for The Forested Temple though, because I feel as though it creates a perfect 'Ancient' feel :p very mysterious.

EDIT: Aerith's Theme is also incredible, in fact one of the best in my opinion, but for this vote I figured it would win outright so I chose a different option

I am going to do exactly the same thing (which is funny, because I made the decision before I saw your post). Aerith's Theme is wonderful, and I really like You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet as well, but they are both looking pretty safe so I'm voting tactically for Interrupted by Fireworks.

I know tactical voting distorts the results a bit, but the way this competition is designed encourages it. Once we get to the final stage, I won't do it any more.

Buried in the Snow fitted perfectly to a snowy scenery with its strings (?) imitating snow falling from the sky.And for me,it also sounds a bit distinctive and symbolizes the loneliness of a character walking alone in the coldness of the snow masses.
