So I stumbled across this teaser trailer on a random Yahoo! article page this morning and quite literally said 'What the hell..?' when I saw the title. Lol. Found it on Youtube:

Maybe it's just me but, I actually felt nostalgia from the first movie in it. What you guys think?

Ah gotta love Bay, the only producer i know that can create a multi-million franchise and totally fuck his own timeline between the first and second film.
Of course this is keeping in with his major fuckups between 1 and 2 so setting the discovery of the ship after that of megatron and giving a cheesy line of "So i guess we really aren't alone" is pretty apt.

I'll reserve judgement till the film comes out though, who knows? Now that they ditched the attention grabbing bitch from the movies the plot might not suck so much.

Honestly, I was a bit upset that she was dropped from the cast. I loved the relationship between Mikaela and Sam T^T. Truthfully tho, it was her fault she got dropped, kept running her mouth about Bay's directing and shit. I think she's really attractive but she's more or less a diva. Anyway, I feel this teaser is promising, though it's probably still too early to tell just yet.

The yellow colour lends itself more to Sentinel Prime than Alpha Trion.

But fuck this movie.

I will watch this movie simply because Fox isn't in it and the drama between her and Bay was delicious.

Fuck that toe thumbed whore, and no she ain't attractive.

I saw this trailer in theaters a couple days ago and was really with it until I saw who the director and executive producer were. I went, "IT'S TRANSFORMERS. NOOOOOOOO."

I saw Optimus and Bumblebee in Chicago, wish I had a camera with me. But I was also there when the Nascar transformers were shooting machine guns on the bridge.

I give it a 10 out of 10 because there's no kids (or people, for that matter) running around in the foreground while awesome gets obscured.

If they put the whole movie on the moon, that'll mean there's just going to be a few astronauts. Of course, I doubt that'll happen.

And I doubt they'll keep them damn kids out of it too.

Or the corny slapstick attempt at humor.

The last one didn't bomb? I thought it did.

The hardcore fans just bitch about that one the most. As far as the mainstream market goes it was a success. :awesome:

That being said, I bet everything in that trailer happens in the first five minutes of the movie in typical Micheal Bay-rushed-plot fashion and the rest will be on Earth. That or they shoot Shia Lebouf into space. Maybe both.

Oh and remember,
Isn't Terry Tate supposed to kill Starscream?

^ Probably.

It isn't just hardcore fans that bitch about these movies. But fans of good moviemaking in general.

I see.. Well, I do admit the second wasn't as good as the first, got a bit carried away with it and even some of the cast members agreed but, I still enjoyed it. I wanna see it to the end tho, so I'm gonna see this one. That trailer did give me nostalgia of the first movie so I got a good feeling about it.

The military is just fucking redundant in this series. If they wanted the parts so bad, they should've been transformers. Watching a montage like that in the first film and second film was the only thing I hated about the movie series. And I think the mother-getting-high skit was just... I don't know out of place? Point is, the first film despite its flaws was still good but the second one ... did improve in bringing more bots but just added al load of unnecessary stuff to the mix. Let's hope 3 does better.

For me, the Transformers films' best moment was still Blackout's initial transformation and rampage on the military base. Nothing beats that initial "Oh shit, we don't know what that is, and -turns out- it's not friendly." factor for me, along with the slow transformation sequence.

The first film was good, and while the second film had its problems, I also enjoyed it for the most part. I'm still optimistic about seeing this film because, as has been stated, the trailer invokes a feel more of the first film than of the second. Plus, the backdated section seems like it might have more of the moments like the one that I liked most from the first film.

Agreed, the Blackout scene was probably the best scene out of the entire franchise. If each scene were as awesome, I wouldn't care about the storyline.

As for the third film trailer, suspension of belief is obviously required, but that's why its fiction. If a weapon actually existed in the pyramids, you think they would've found that too. Stuff like that don't bother me. The stupid parts of Transformers 2 is what bothered me though, but Bay reckons he has learnt his lesson. I'm really hoping that's the case. I'll see the movie anyways. Its not like the first two absolutely sucked.

I have little hope for this franchise after that trainwreck that was "Revenge of the Fallen." I'm also one of the few who isn't happy with Megan Fox being left out, and not just because she's enjoyable to look at.

I just think it's shit "artistry" when real-life shenanigans gets in the way of a fiction. Don't write that shit in, leave it the fuck out.

Megan Fox is as enjoyable to look at as visceral pictures of thrush IMO

I hear she's been replaced with a lingerie model.

Can't Micheal Bay just cast a normal woman for once?

^ Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Yes, she's one of the Victoria's Secret Angel models and when she audtioned for the role of Carly, both Bay AND Spielberg agreed that she was right for the part and cast her. I haven't seen her acting and such yet so I'm gonna give her a chance.

Also, the reason I was mad that Megan was dropped was because of the chemistry her and Shia had, the relationship between Mikaela and Sam. But, it makes sense if they had to kick her ass to the curb cuz she was being a derp about Bay and shit, so yeah. She's been pissing me off lately cuz of the typical Diva "holier-than-thou" act. Still, I'm gonna give Rosie a chance as Carly, see how their relationship pans out.
