From the trailer it looks like Flyn is being kept prisoner and the whole point in the film is the counterpart is keeping him there prisoner and he thinks that by using his son he can manipulate Flyn into doing what he wants.
Seeing as how you see the chick stating that Flyn is the creator of everything im guessing the counterpart will try and manipulate Flyn to hand over control of some shit to save his laddie.

Fuckin shit why cant this movie come out earlier? EVen if the story is shit I dont give a fuck. Too many awesome things are being crammed into this shit.

Getting Daft Punk to do the score is the best thing they could have ever done

Gonna be a good film. Movie games don't work for me anymore so I'm not even bothering with it.

I loved the original! In my opinion, it was one of the better movies in my time. I really am not thrilled that they think they can make it better. Granted, with the new technologies, visuals may be better - but... eh. Call me old fashioned, but I do not like the idea of a remake. Some things are just good or great as they are, 70s and 80s technologies or no.

Im getting a lil worried about how much Flynn's going to be in the movie, We've really only seen him in the white room and I'm thinking he'll be more of a cameo despite his program (?) seeing him as his enemy. Maybe he's doing a kindof wizard of oz type deal.

I saw one poster of flynn in a black trenchcoat, so I think he'll be on a major role rather than a cameo.
