Interestingly enough they were able to complete LT. Surges puzzle on the first try.
Unfortunately though Route 9 is Hell on earth for them and have been stuck on it for more then 6 hours now.

I've been watching this a fair bit. I generally keep the Reddit live updates page open and see if anything noteworthy is happening before opening the actual stream.

It's an interesting experiment. One thing that I pay particular attention to is the anarchy vs democracy tug-of-war. Most people on the stream support anarchy, as that was the original idea of this playthrough - democracy was only added when they got stuck in the Safari Zone. Yet democracy is clearly better. It took the players many hours on anarchy to get into the Viridian City Pokecenter, only to leave it immediately, without healing, and jump off the ledge just outside. With democracy, they got in there and got healed up in about five minutes. Almost all of the Pokemon releases have taken place on anarchy as well, but most people still hate it.

I've got a bit sick of the memes, the trolling and the general shouting, though.

Don't hate the player, hate the game I don't blame TPP at all for using Zapdos. I think it was impressive enough that they managed to catch it in the first place.

Hmmm... I suppose you've got a point there. Catching and training a Legendary, especially in ye olden games, with the whole Twitch thing letting fuckloads of people all be in control at once IS impressive. Its just automatic for me to pfft anyone using a Legendary monster

@Yop: If by "next game" you mean "next generation" that'd be either Gold, Silver, or Crystal

I was awake in the thesis lab when Red whooped Blue's ass -- I had Twitch on as background noise and when I heard the Champion music playing, I tabbed over and watched history happened. There may or may not have been a lot of yelling happening.
