Isn't that the reason he keeps coming back? I mean, if you guys just send him to 'Coventry' and only respond to his posts when hes being sensible and otherwise ignore him, wouldn't he just get bored? Haven't you guys seen Supernanny? And even if he didn't it wouldn't matter because nobody would be responding.

Or hell, why not everybody just set him on 'ignore' full stop? You could message new members advising them to do this.

I don't really care either way, but threads like this justify his 'trolling' - he'd having the desired effect, presumably he can still read all this stuff and its just going to get him juiced up for next time. I can only assume you all really enjoy it in some sort of perverse symbiosis?

Anyway that's just my input as someone who has lived with two annoying little brothers for most of my life

Why not just wait for interest in it to die off (which it inevitably will) and then let it fade into obscurity. People aren't just going to forget that you're a moderator if you don't close a thread every few days or something, you know.

We've learned putting people in Coventry actually fucks up the forum. I believe that's why page numbers in certain threads used to be messed up. However, we will use it if we seriously want to troll a snitch ass bitch.

Username acts up periodically. As annoying as he is, he keeps us occupied.

Agree with this statement. We really don't know what Username is like in RL. He could be struggling with the pressures of RL. He could of lost somebody, or could be lonely, or feel like he's not welcome within his own family, and seeing this thread would just hurt him even more. The only thing I know about him was that he was a alcoholic, and usually people who drink alcohol constantly feel depressed and use the alcohol to hide out any emotions of sadness, because it makes them feel silly or happy for a while...

He may of posted some really stupid things, but judging from his dupe Lemming that actually posted some sensible opinions on FF13-2, it actually looked liked inside that Username actually wanted to care and make some decent posting.

I could be very naive on this, but unless you're not inside the person's shoes, you have no idea what his RL is like, online troll or not online troll. But really, if I'm wrong on all of this, it's still not good to speak about somebody else behind their back. Plus why choose the username Lemming ?, they're animals who are famous to commit suicide. And people usually pick/ choose username titles who they like or feel most related too. Ie, I like Kyrie from Devil May Cry. So deep inside, he might of felt unhappy. Just Sayin' !
