Unlucky
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
So there was a sale on polymer clay in the local craft store last week, and I decided to try my hand at sculpting miniatures. I bought a set of 4 basic plastic tools, 3 polymer clay blocks (in white and Sahara) and a liquid polymer clay.
Sorry for the crappy quality; I resized the images.
As you can see I need to work on a lot of things-- the proportion, coloring (need more soft pastels!!) and especially the shapes. I tried to look for a good mold for the cups, plates and bowls with no luck (well I did find some chocolate plastic molds small enough for bowls but I just ended up destroying it and wasting clay). Looks like I'm gonna have to make them myself but I'd still have to shape them perfectly and I don't know how. Bugger.
These things were a lot of fun to make. The materials are also cheap. I feel like a kid getting artsy with Play-Doh-- and getting to actually cook the Play-Doh
