WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
So there was a sale on polymer clay in the local craft store last week, and I decided to try my hand at sculpting miniatures. I bought a set of 4 basic plastic tools, 3 polymer clay blocks (in white and Sahara) and a liquid polymer clay.

Sorry for the crappy quality; I resized the images.

As you can see I need to work on a lot of things-- the proportion, coloring (need more soft pastels!!) and especially the shapes. I tried to look for a good mold for the cups, plates and bowls with no luck (well I did find some chocolate plastic molds small enough for bowls but I just ended up destroying it and wasting clay). Looks like I'm gonna have to make them myself but I'd still have to shape them perfectly and I don't know how. Bugger.

These things were a lot of fun to make. The materials are also cheap. I feel like a kid getting artsy with Play-Doh-- and getting to actually cook the Play-Doh :awesome:

Baking clay. <3
Makes me want to go bake Christmas ornaments...even though I don't really celebrate the holiday. Lol. This just brings back memories of baking candy cane shaped ornaments. :D

I think the colors are fine; the spaghetti looks especially good! 8]

Thanks, I thought the pasta needs to be much thinner but then that'd take me a thousand years

A popsicle, donut and a.. gloved hand. I was supposed to make Mickey Mouse's hand, but then I remembered he only has four fingers, and that wouldn't work.

I need to buy more clay!!

Nope I didn't bake it :wacky: The polymer clay frog is my sole contribution. Everything else is made from scratch by my awesome mom, from the cake to the frosting to the marshmallow fondant. I thought this needed more contrast but I call it a successful creation (by my mom, it's the first time she ever tried this!). And it actually tasted good.

I haven't touched my tablet for months and badly needed to get used to digital sketching. Came up with this very lazy fanart of my OT3 (Chie x meat x Akihiko)

Seriously why is this not a thing yet after Arena somebody needs to explain to me why :@

I've been staring at the Meat Lovers one for the last 10 minutes while I've been teaching online and I really love it. I love how you did the steam coming out of the bowl - very cool. And the shape of her arm is also very beautiful. I love the expressions on their faces - very minimalist but saying so much ><

Your froggy frog is professional quality - perfection! Hope it tasted yummy ;)
