Websites for Versus and Agito XIII

Not sure if you guys knew or not, but a website is up for both - though nothing more is given except a picture and then some small basic information.

Originally I had thought that Versus would come out before Agito. Then for a while I thought the other way around. Now I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

I understand. I feel this way about a lot of things SE does. Initially excited, then I get bored until some real developments come through.

Is the creation of a website just placating me? I kind of feel that way. Although there's no english site yet, so perhaps not

Actually the thing is, Arianna, that when I found out about these sites, since I found out by myself, I thought everyone here must have known it for some time, so I never bothered saying anything. After all, nothing was there and probably (I thought) everyone knew about it.

Here's hoping they do something about it...

I've been looking forward to the release of Versus or at least I was but at the rate they're going....well you know they still haven't finished one FF compilation, so I can't really say I'm that surprised.

You know, I WOULD be excited, had it not passed so much time since they announced the title. This is what I meant by "both glad and bored". I'm open to any new FF game, and versus has shown a promising potential, but all this time has stretched things too much IMO. On the one hand, I'm glad we have news, on the other, after all this time I feel "burned up" and tired and bored.

SE should know that letting something hanging for too long, makes it lose some of its appeal. That's my complaint.

On the other hand, this is yet another game I'll buy, even if it's just for its dark atmosphere. It appeals to me.

I haven't been following XIV, so I really honestly don't know, but...

What's so wrong with it?

It just seems FFXIV just flipped SE over on its backside.

Now in all serousness, weak and slow gameplay, apparently, to begin with. A stupid leveling up system, paying a lot of money (not so far, though! ) and gaining experience only during 8 hours per week. Different cities which are basically made of copy-paste buildings, ... the list could go on forever.

Because they share a myth, which is the whole Fal'Cie, L'Cie and Gods/Goddesses' thing. You could say that FFXIII, FFvXIII and Agito are supposed to be different interpretations of the same myth.

I'm not sure it's a reinterpretation, it's more just that: the same mythos and legends. I recall reading when ever we see crystals in the games, it means something... ?!?!

I probably worded (or understood it) wrong, but yeah, Arianna, that would be it. And it's not like the background is the same one, Eerie, more like... similar backgrounds? Bah, they could just bear different names and would still be fine!

I was bugged as hell as to why they would call these games "XIII", so it's good to see the overall idea behind them.

I'm doubtful about playing them /will wait for reviews first/ but really.. I think they should have just give them new names. It reeks the whole wekindawanttoliveonfranchise meh :/ Sounds lame to me. XD They should have more balls and confidence, 'cause once they'll start using these new characters everywhere, it's going to be even more confusing :/
