Mastodon - Quintessence (instrumental)
It's interesting how even when the vocals aren't in the recording, I still imagine them being there. I kind of wish moar artists released instrumental mixes though because instrumental nuances that don't stand out in the vocal mix sometimes stand out better in the instrumental mixes.

Neurosis - Times of Grace
Listening without the Tribes of Neurot ambience for the first time in awhile. Still pretty great on its own, but the ambience just makes it so much better. Wicba, I'm gonna make a 5.1 mix of Neurosis + Tribes of Neurot on this album with the new version of Audacity and burn it to a DVD for great ambient justice.
also Drudkh leaked apparently, but cba listening tonight, going to bed. I'll poast a link on FFOF for anyone who wants it though.

I honestly have never been disappointed with anything I've heard from them. Even 'The Sun That Never Sets' which is considered to be their worst album, still kicks the crap out of 90% of the other music I listen to.
