As my friend so lovingly put it, this band deserves waaaaay more recognition than they get sometimes. It's got a heavy guitar/bass combo to carry it and Boyd's voice is as great as ever. They're still alternative but it's comparatively darker than their earlier work--it's heavier and raw. There's something powerful and magnetic about this track.

Crash -- Stateless

I haven't listened to this band in a looooong time. Back when I was a wee freshman, I would lose myself in their Radiohead-esque tracks. Good examples of this would be songs like Bluetrace and Bloodstream. The singer eerily reminds me of Thom Yorke what with his ambiguous falsettos and whatnot. Still his voice compliments the slow progression of this track beautifully.

It's sad that this band doesn't get that much <3, they're debut album is truly a gem.
