Apparently there are people who actually prefer the shitty original mix of this album. What the fuck are they smoking? Avant-garde metal isn't supposed to sound like it was recorded over a cheap telephone line. The remaster is 9001 times better; I wasn't able to appreciate this album until I heard it. I'm glad I bought it, because the album is actually pretty damn great, though it's not Sigh's best.

The point is that if you can't hear the experimentation due to shite recording quality, the experimentation is pretty much pointless. I agree that there shouldn't be a set formula to it though.
