finally ripping this vinyl I got like three months ago. Although it just skipped. FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

edit: spraying the thing with compressed air did the trick. Hit me up if you want an mp3 version or a CD-quality flac version; the full rip I made is over 1GB compressed so there's no way I'm uploading it except maybe as a torrent.

Probably not on stuff liek Darkspace, since the source material is already so compressed. On acoustic guitars and other sounds with lots of both bass and treble is where the big differences come in imho. For example, with Sigh's Imaginary Sonicscape the difference is immediately apparent, at least on good equipment. :monster:

It's a shame that In The Unlikely Event was such a piece of shit compared to Phantom on the Horizon. Easily their best work.
