song still turns me into mush pretty much every time it plays. I'd say Uematsu was pretty close to peerless if not for the existence of Mitsuda, Sugiyama, and a couple of others. Still, Uematsu is quite a bit more prolific than any other game composer of similar quality I can think of, so he probably wins from quantity.
