I'm not sure, but most likely that is the case. I'm not too optimistic about it ever being released though.
EDIT: Found this on the M-A forum so take it FWIW.
"I recently mailed Tomas Corn about the new album. He said that Lykathe will just be a studio project as they have no interest in playing live. Most of the songs are already composed and they are currently looking for a singer (probably session singer according to Tomas). The only thing he mentioned about the sound of the album is that it will incorporate more singing and less growling."

I'm not sure, but most likely that is the case. I'm not too optimistic about it ever being released though.
