The actor who plays Sephiroth would have to be a serious actor, one that would not take the role lightly and not very campy. I submit the candidacy to Daniel Day-Lewis.

I think Reynold's would do a fine job. He is certainly a talented actor to say the least, and one with a diverse resume at that. Maybe not FFVII Reno but more of an AC Reno is what I was aiming for.
