opps, I didn't see it. I've played DQ1, DQV, DQVI and DQVIII. Of those DQVI is definitely the largest deviation from the standard formula. It's possible there were others that deviated even moar, but I dunno

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are direct sequels to Wind Waker. They most certainly do effect the plot...

I never liked the cell-shading games that much. I still love the old Zelda Games, but that sucks. Link looks ridiculous with that hat. Too much commercial background on the new games.
