You're only talking about the fights you've SEEN!! All against Cloud or bits of Sephiroth (aliens!!!!). I don't think we can blame anyone for getting their ass kicked by Cloud and Sephiroth. Chuck Norris would, too.

Give them their own game and it's a different story. The Turks are pretty tough in Before Crisis, especially Reno.

And they stick together and look after each other through thick and thin. Plus, they ALL have great hair (even Rude, in a way). Yeah, I choose them.

Hm I'd probably be friends with Aeris, Tifa, and Yuffie.
I chose Aeris simply because she seems to be carefree and vivacious (kind of like me at times). Tifa seems like the motherly type--the one who'd keep everyone together, and she can kick ass in a fight. Yuffie would be all over the place, really hyperactive, really talkative, and super fun. She'd just probably end up stealing someone's stuff though, being the kleptomaniac that she is.

Probably Cloud or Vincent, ideally. I'd think Cloud is the type of person I would easily open up to because we're both kind of similar in the way. As for Vincent, I would want to know more about him after all he's been through. He's also quite mature enough to look up to. Although I wouldn't want to be friends with Sephiroth even though I can somewhat relate with him since I'm sometimes vengeful and angry at others.

After absorbing the knowledge in the Lifestream for five years, he probably already knew, the same way he found out that Jenova was not an ancient and not her real mother.
