because sexy black armour is sexy :monster:

And real-life guys should totally wear it! =D

Cloud was more attractive when I still thought of him as Scandinavian.

Cloud still looked Scandinavian in Dissidia, just a lilbit weird... his original FF design is way better, imho.

And poor Warrior of Light. Gettin' no love from the ladies....

Quoted for lies :monster: Warrior is da sexiest!

What the fuck?

I meant Cloud. That's what I get for posting while reading Squall's battle comments. :monster:

I personally think that Warrior is older than Cloud myself. He's got this... gravitas to him that only comes with experience. And I think that he's very handsome myself, but that's different from sexy.

Dissidia has given me a newfound attraction to Firion. Never having finished FF2 may account for never having this sort of appreciation for him though :P

Also, Dark Knight Cecil (Paladin Cecil is a little too 80's metal band for me) and... Jecht. Emperor Mateus too, in a David Bowie/Lord Jareth the Goblin King sort of way.[/quote]

Wait... PalCec is too 80's Metal, but BOWIE in a Goblin King way is good? They're the same thing!

Warrior's gotta be the eldest of the bunch. There's just something much older about him than the rest of the cosmos crew. Now here's a question- outside of Exdeath and CoD who I'd peg as simply immortal period, who's the eldest darksider?

Also, you're all wrong. I'M the sexiest in Dissidia, and Tina's up second.

Since we're discussing ages on the side of good, here is a good guess -

14(?) - Onion Knight
16 - Zidane
17 - Squall
17 - Tidus
18 - Firion
18 - Terra
20 - Bartz
20 - Cecil
21 - Cloud
2? - Warrior
??? - Shantotto

Between Exdeath and CoD, she is far older even though Exdeath is about 1000 if you count is birth as when Enuo was defeated.

I'd have pegged Cecil as being around 21 or more, myself, and I can't quite see Firi as being younger than Butz, especially Dissidia Butz. I'd put Tina in the 16-18 range, with her being one of the youngest in the party (Gau and Relm being younger still). The others seem accurate enough, though 14 might be pushing it for Onion Knight, though the Remake Crew was quite a few years older.

Oh, no question. She was around when the Dark Warriors reset the balance 1000 years prior, so she's at least that old, and probably as old as everything.
I'm curious who among the 'mortals' is oldest. I'd say either Jecht or Ultimecia, then Garland, Sephiroth, Golbez, Kefka, Mateus, Kuja, but that's all off the top of my head based off known factors and how old they act. I similarly have no clue how old Gabranth is, but I'd peg him on the older scale.

You really are trying to boost activity aren't you, MakoEyes?
"TLS, now with more sexy!"

Cloud I guess is a little attractive, at least in the FMVs, because his adrogynous appearance is polarizing more and more to the feminine side. What COULD make him sexy was if his crossdressing-dress was an alternate costume. WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE HIM THAT?!!! My god Square, can't you see what wonderful fan service you just avoided?!

Yeah, transsexuals are sometimes good-looking. Kuja would be if he wasn't so...non-threatening.
But all the above mentions of sexy is very much a stretch because I don't really find any videogame character "sexy".

Gabranth is 36 (since he's the same age as Basch). Sephiroth and Golbez are about 30, Kefka is 31. I would also put Ultimecia and Mateus is the 30ish range with Jecht at the tail end of it. (Since the only character we have of comparable age is Auron, who is 35 in X, though, I would put Jecht at about 20 years older than Tidus, so that would make him 37.) Garland is probably older - he talks like an old man to emphasize the age dissonance. And Kuja is officially 24. So the ages on the side of evil would break down as -

24 - Kuja
30 - Golbez
30 - Sephiroth
31 - Kefka
3? - Mateus
3? - Ultimecia
36 - Gabranth
37? - Jecht
40+ - Garland
1000 - Exdeath
1000+ - Cloud of Darkness

Thankee much. I would not have pegged Mateus or Kefka as that old, personally. Late 20s, yes, but not 30s. Garland does sound old, but the question is- how old? I figured he, Jecht, and Ultimecia were all about the same age, though I'll admit that's mostly subjective.

Actually, i think he's around twenty-nine. Genesis, Angeal and Sephiroth were born more or less 20 years before CC, wich started seven years before FFVII. That would make Sephiroth around 27 in FFVII, With two more years until AC, Sephiroth should be 29 years old.

Dissidia takes place before AC. That's why Cloud is officially 21 in it and not 23. So Sephiroth is 30 at most.

And the reason I consider Garland to be old is because he uses the pronoun "Washi" which is a verbal clue in fictional works that the speaker is old and is helpful in this case because his physical appearance makes no indication of age.

As for age developments: if Jecht's listed age is around 35, could it be possible that is the age where he became Sin? Because if that were the case, he'd probably be closer to 45. Much like how Vincent is listed as 27, when in truth he should actually be much older.

Nope, it would be Jecht's age in FFX. Auron was 25 when they left to go find Sin and FFX happens ten years later, and appropiately, Auron is 35. I estimated that Jecht was about the same age as Auron when they went on their pilgrimage which would also put him in his late thirties in FFX.

So Cloud's being ganked can take place at any time after Dec 9 (start of game, since I don't think anyone was pulled from before their game) and Cloud's subsequent birthday, which leaves a few months after the game for this to happen when Cloud would still be 21. That's assuming again that there's no de-aging going on.

And the reason I consider Garland to be old is because he uses the pronoun "Washi" which is a verbal clue in fictional works that the speaker is old and is helpful in this case because his physical appearance makes no indication of age.

On the other hand, he's been specifically abusing the time loop, and this might be an indication that he's old in mind, regardless of how old his physical body is.

I figured he was the oldest of that group, though not that much older (Maxing out at 30), but yeah, later 30s as of FF10.

Now, I'm still quite curious as to when all the rest are from.
WoL... I'll amend myself and say he's from before FF1 (though not necessarily from before his first adventure), Firi... No clue. Going by Mateus, it's before FFII's final arc.
Onion... no clue. Any time during his game is possible, though at the very end, in the world of the CoD seems likely.
Cecil must be from around the end of FFIV or shortly thereafter.
Butz, no clue.
Tina, I shall guess at prior to the WoR, while she's coming to terms with her Esperhood.
Cloud I mentioned
Squall is from the timestream after he defeats Ultimecia but before he winds up in the flowerfield.
Zidane is from while he and Kuja are wandering through Memoria, since Kuja has the power of Trance (assuming in battle techs have any meaning), but has not come to terms with his own morality like he does after his defeat.
Tidus and Jecht, any time after he joins the pilgrimage but before, I think, sin gets destroyed.
Shantotto... You got me.
Gabranth- outside 'sometime in game', I have no clue. I don't know enough about him in Dissidia yet.

Just look at the official profiles Schala-Kitty has translated for one. Most of them refer to each character's individual adventures prior to them arriving in Dissidia.

That, and given their dialogue and references to each other in Dissidia, its clear most of them save for *maybe* Kuja and Zidane are in Dissidia, post FF. Tidus's and Jecht are definitely post FFX. Why would Jecht want to return home and become Sin again if its before FFX's end?

Wait, where's that from, Mako? It's not in his profile. I presume it's from somewhere in the story I haven't seen. What dialogues are you referring to in specific? I haven't played the game yet, so if you'd be so kind as to be a bit more specific, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Looking at the translated profiles, it does seem Tina and Butz must be post FF, as Kefka and Exdeath's demises are mentioned but the rest aren't quite so clear. OK's makes it seem like he was taken right as he and company were facing CoD. Cecil's for example refers to only as late as Mt. Ordeals, though we know he has to be from lategame anyways.
