worst final boss of the compilation?

who do you think is the worst final boss/main villain in the compilation?

imo, it's Weiss. he's the villain 'cause.... he's. he don't have so much own characterization (or, in the USA/EU version, he don't have at all) and he summon Omega without a real reason. everithing he says/does in the whole game in really

and as final boss is pretty easy to defeat. (dunno you, but i beat him healing myself only with two hi-potion and a phoenix down 'cause i didn't see that fireball coming).

I'm going to agree with you, not that I ever played DoC but just on the basis that Weiss' character design (and by that I mean his hair) pretty much embodies a lack of ideas. So yeah, to sum up he has stupid fucking hair which is stupid even by Nomuras standards.

Nomura: and now, we need a villain. i don't want to waste time on this, so i suggest to revive some old villain and create a new villain. i don't want to have a new particular design, so (if fan like character with spikey hair) i'll draw somebody with the worst spikey hair ever. even worse than cloud. and zack. and cloud and zack together. and without a shirt, 'cause fangirls love character without shirt. and with white hair 'cause fan love white hair. hey, that's sound good. let's do it.

I thought Weiss Powered or whatever its called ws a little tough, I think he killed me once. His final form is easy, but that's kinda par for the course for FF.
But I'll agree anyway I guess in that there's not much competition and for that stupid bit where you hve to shoot the opening...flower...things.

Also, Evil Tick of Doom is not the "final boss" in the sense that, say, Safer Sephiroth is. He's more on par with the scripted fight Cloud has with Sephiroth inside his mind. Jecht is the one who should really be thought of as the final boss of FFX. Everything else after that is essentially a scripted battle since you can't die.

Technically, you can still lose after beating Braska's Final Aeon (petrification), but you kind of have to bring that on yourself. No reason that you should lose.

As far as the Compilation goes, yeah, Omega Weiss is probably the most underwhelming. Not as insulting as it sounds, though, when you consider that there have only been three games in the Compilation other than the original FFVII, one of which was never released outside Japan (though Zirconiade is still a better final battle). Everything else in the Compilation has either been text only or animated only.

AS far as entries canon to the Compilation go, Feral Chaos. He's wicked hard, has little personality, and when you finally get him, it turns out his moves and abilities take up way to much CP, making it hard to make a good moveset and ability set up that doesn't exceed the CP limit. It doesn't help that the boss version of him ignores this CP limit.

As far as actual compilation entries go, Omega Weiss.

Look it up. I know I read about how to lose against Yu Yevon but I forgot how. I believe the YU Yevon(boss) article on FF Wiki can tell you. If it's not there then one of the guides on GameFAQs probably mentions it.
