Yo. I heard there were people I know here.

I didn't make such a hewge impact on ACF; mostly I wrote silly stuff and skirted on the sidelines of the drama or hung out in SO and wrote more silly stuff.

@Sherlock, a quote I know! <3 That was Batman wasn't it? :huh:

Ya hello folks I'm wavin' at you. I hate these intro threads because no one ever says anything interesting in them, interesting stuff is elsewhere usually, you know, once the veil of comfort and trust descends on the poster. But I'm the most interesting person I know with no issues of trust so listen up:

My name is Cab. That is all.

I could have sworn you were already a member here. Welcome. :monster:

Howdy! I was on ACF (from about 2003-2007-ish...perhaps) but I only remember about 2% of the usernames from way back when. :awesome:

Whoa Star Lord, nice to see you dude....
2 things:
1. A British person can't say dude without a significant amount of irony. I regret my word choice and opt for a change; nice to see you me ol' muckah.
I'm not from London either.
Ok, last chance; Alright boyo.
That'll stereotypically do it, I'm Welsh, I should write that down somewhere.
2. Star Lord? Really? You chose this name?! :P

Thanks for all the welcomes.... How do you know these cool people like me? They may fear me and be quaking in their booties at this moment while hiding it under a veneer of friendliness.
I mean, it is highly unlikely, but a possibility one should consider when welcoming strangers at their interweb door.

Hellooooooooooooooo! Do you still play the harmonica? Sounds like you've had some interesting experiences since you were last online. The last time I remember you posting, you were heading back to Wales for a visit before heading off somewhere else. Can't believe that was six years ago.

I still play harmonica, I made a couple of trashily horrific albums - if I'd stuck around to do them properly I think they could have been cool, but harpin's just a hobby. I did a cool couple of songs with the guitarist from Alabama 3 and hung out with them a lot on tour - that was fun :D I'll post up some songs round about Sunday night when I got stuff to do and need to procrastinate!

I left Indonesia and found out that the world runs on these things called qualifications. So I started getting me some of those, in Italy then London, then the Caribbean, now I'm back in Wales and looking to head off to the middle East next - yeah it's a shameless work for money move, I ain't proud but I gotta pay off these qualifications! :monster:

So what have you guys been up to? I missed you guys like an emotional PMT moment with tissues, wine and Poison's discography circa 80's.... let's not make a big deal of the mush I just put out there ya? I don't want folk to think I've gone soft or anything! :shifty:

Past 6 years? I dunno, I basically moved out, finished school, got a job (second job now), started TLS by popular demand, and spend my spare time playing eve online pretty much :monster:

Lemme see.....I have a son who's nearly six, as you might remember. :awesome: I trained as a gardener and am now obsessed with horticulture. I'm after more of those quallies too, they seem to be the big in thing these days. Hmph.
Not as well-travelled as I'd like to be, but hey ho, that's the compromise of parenting.

My life has "progressed" very little. I'm putting the nail in the coffin by doing a visual arts degree. Soon I'll be mailing my severed body parts :awesome:.

@ Yopy - you started this? I knew you were epic but damn! Can you go organise some governments next? If you can organise this lot into harmony I vote Yopy for president! Great justice has occurred! :monster:

@Iron Man - Saudi, not fully decided yet. I was in Iraq for a while before, but it's not really my cup of tea.

@Mage - Whoa 6! You're gonna be feeling old soon babe! My bezzie mate's a gardener and starting his own business in London. I love people obsessed with horticulture cos they cultivate more beauty than I can shake a stick at and I can shake a lot!
I'm fairly well travelled but the price is being an exile in my own country and I decided not to have kids years ago - the price of choosing the shallow route of life I reckon! I think that makes us very brilliant in our own ways.

Ghost - Please don't send your body bits to me, it's hard to get the blood out of the door mat :D Visual arts is cool, I shoulda gone for a cool sounding degree; teaching English as a foreign language sounds more geeky than I pretend not to be!

Terrible in general or just for teaching? I know this is a bad attitude to have but I'm looking to have a TEFL job that pays well. I have always done TEFL jobs that I loved in places I loved and my bank balance has suffered recently for it! I just paid out a wad for my masters and I'm looking for a job to pay that off and help me take over my Mum's mortgage so she can retire.

Serious business now! After a few years of that and studying a Phd I'll go back to fun times - that's the master plan anyway!
