Yes, it sounds like Shotaro Shima, but starting from 0:35 in my video you can hear Hamauzu's slow percussion along with wind chimes that he used in Train Graveyard themes. Maybe it's collaborative work or Shima just borrowed it from him since they're both working at SE.

I'm a sucker for the Main Theme of FFVII, so I put together a medley from various renditions throughout the game:

Yeah, but the outro is shortened instead, and we still don't get the true full version of that boss battle theme on any released soundtracks. But it's possible for us to edit the track and replace the outro. It's just feels lame that we have to do it ourselves.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned "Ghoul" and "Whispers Theme" as their favorite songs. I love all Remake's brand new themes, but these 2 are the best!
