Not necessarily, that all depends on just how much of AC and DoC will be incorporated into the timeframe of the remake’s story and in what way

I guess that’s the question of the century, is whether their sentiments extend to the post-FF7 story. They’re remaking FF7, which ends with Cloud & friends defeating Sephiroth, Aerith stopping Meteor from the Lifestream, and a flash forward to Red XIII 500 years later. Long as the story leads...
