I seem to remember hearing the localization was done by 2 people who worked at Square and spoke english, but weren't actual translators.

Did you write all that? Btw, to answer one of the other points on that page: I'm pretty sure the single wing is just supposed to represent a fallen angel. Because obviously having just 1 wing would mean you could no longer fly. It's a bit of symbolism that goes back to an old biblical story...

He's probably my favourite villain in the whole series. Either him or Sephiroth. Ardyn is the better character and has the better motives, but Sephiroth is perhaps presented better by the story.

Looking awesome! "As You Like It" is about a duke being exiled from the kingdom and having to go and live in a forest. Similar-ish to the Ardyn story I guess. Although it is a comedy (which meant a happy story, not the modern meaning of the word), so I doubt that's really foreshadowing...

There's definitely more than just views/clicks, I accept that. Brand recognition counts for a lot. That's what the establishment media still has.

That may have been accurate in 2012, when they gathered that data. I don't know if that holds up in 2019. Joe Rogan's interview with Elon Musk (my avatar) got something like 50 million downloads. I guarantee that's more hits than any interview corporate media does.

They've only bought 21st century Fox, the movie branch. They haven't bough News Corp, who still owns Fox News, Fox Sport, Fox Business, etc. I'm rather skeptical of this "they own 90% of the media" claim in the internet era. What is being included in that 100%? Are they including youtube...

What is your interpretation? Good gameplay and exploration could make it good too. But in terms of the story, it seems like some kind of twist is likely, because the story for what happens here is so unknown. It seems so unlikely they'd just go with something really boring like 'Ardyn attacks...

That's kinda what FF13 is. It's just a confusing one, until you finally understand it on your 4th playthrough.

Given how many of the assets will be the same as FF7, I'm hoping they release it as a DLC for the FF7remake. It probably wouldn't be that big a workload once they've already got most of the characters and environments made for the remake.

FF6 remade with the Octopath Traveler style. It's a no-brainer. Also, a lot more mini-games like they used to have. There needs to be something as big as Triple Triad in the next game.
