Impossible to choose between Triple Triad and Chocobo HotnCold.
Triple Triad is more inherently fun. But I like how much HotnCold is embedded into the larger game. It gives you that incentive to explore the world's most remote locations, and gives you access to new locations.
Oh ok, I'll go with Lightning for that then. Even though they did nothing interesting with her in the latter 2 games of the trilogy. I liked her a lot in the original 13
First has to be Tifa, because she's really the first attractive 3D woman they ever made.
Last is surely the same as current? That would have to be Aranea. She's easily the hottest woman who rides a magitek spear I've ever seen.
That's awesome. I think he has said FF9 is his favourite before. So that wasn't just a routine, that was his actual opinion.
It makes sense. FF9 is the most advanced reimagining of what he originally wanted the series to be.
You misunderstood my point. I agree with all this. I loved them as a means of travel. I think they really nailed the feel of it.
I was talking specifically about the race course. That I thought was very simplistic. I wanted something bigger, like the FF7 races. That's why I mentioned the moogle...
Well I dunno what the various different playtimes are associated with. All I know is my very first playthrough was about 30 hours, which was just the main story plus some of the extra stuff.
The way I play things like this on the first time, is to just follow the main story, along with doing the...
They're not much different than regular unrelated sidequests within the main game. Going and unlocking the Chocobo Post is unconnected from the story too. I'm including anything that has a kind of narrative element to it.
I still consider Comrades to be part of the main story simply because I...
I was comparing it to standard "story run" of the game. That's all I ultimately care about. If that part isn't good, I never care about the extra content.
The launch version of the game was somewhere between 25-30 hours long. So it's within reason to say it'll end up having doubled its original...
I don't really understand why people liked the chocobo racing in XV. I thought it was pretty lame really.
I missed the Moogle festival though. Dunno if that made it any better?
I might replay 8 at some point purely because I can't remember if I ever beat the Omega Weapon and it annoys me that I might not have.
That's an unacceptable moral failing.
After I've finished Lightning Returns, I'll have done all of the main series games.
Might try World of Final Fantasy next. Bought the Vita version a while back but haven't got to it yet. It seemed to go down quite well with the fans.
EA not being there is largely meaningless.
Sony not being there is probably just because they don't really have much more to show. We already know about all the remaining games for the PS4, so they're saving everything else for E3 2020 where they'll announce the PS5.
Is this gonna be necessary to see to understand the final Avengers film?
They're pretty annoying and inconsistent in which movies you need to see to understand the larger story arc.
The one thing I did like about fishing was how they had all those secret fishing spots.
Although I dunno if that was tied to finding paticular rare fish because I didn't spend any time on it myself.
