Yeah! As far as I'm aware they're still canon to the Compilation, but they're more of a "bonus content" and that's why they're not referenced as an installment of the Compilation. They were still listed in the Remake Ultimania as I far as know.

Actually, Aerith already 'paid' her date with Cloud. In JP this is more clear as she says "I paid a great price for his service! Mom, listen to me" (direct translate) [credits for the translation] when they arrive at her house, plus when she says "You're already being paid" on the way to there...

I agree! The compilation has made things pretty clear when it comes to Cloud and Tifa's relationship, but I won't deny I have a little bit of a problem that for you to fully grasp their relationship you need to have access to supplementary works ( such as novellas and ultimanias) and that's why...
