Definite yikes from me. The "realistic" style of the CG Pokemon is really off-putting. Even with that aside, I guess I've gone full curmudgeon because the trailer really didn't do much for me - it just comes off as trying REALLY hard to be Who Framed Roger Rabbit but with Pokemon. Hopefully...

Oh, by that I was mainly referring to a (new) character that comes up later on in the show and how they factor into the penultimate episode... it's kind of hard to talk about it without giving stuff away, let's just say it's rather incongruous; it didn't sour me on the whole show or anything...

I love how, like, absolutely no one was expecting Piranha Plant as a playable character. The other newcomers from the last Direct didn't really do much for me, but I'm actually really looking forward to trying Piranha Plant out. Not that I'm gonna get my hopes up, but isn't there still DLC...

I could really go either way with this one, but I went with Terra because I feel bad it's getting crushed. With A Place to Call Home having gotten eliminated earlier, it's too bad that both versions of this theme are out.

This was tough, but You're Not Alone got my vote. I was tempted to go with J-E-N-O-V-A for its distinctive opening, but I think I like the bulk of You're Not Alone more overall.

This one was super tough - I really like them both (plus they're so different in mood!), but I went with You're Not Alone. It really fit perfectly with the moment when it played in game. The eeriness of Cry of the Planet is great, as well, though, I wish they could both advance.

I do like Those Who Fight, but definitely Terra's Theme. As I mentioned in one of the other threads, it might be my favorite song in the whole series. I love how there's a sort of melancholy to it as well as a triumphant/adventurous feel - it's an interesting combination and perfect for Terra...

It's gonna feel a bit strange playing the PlayStation FFs on a Nintendo console, but this is great news. It'll be great to have the portability option for FFXII, in particular (also makes me feel less bad about missing out on the steelbook :monster:). Looking forward to the Crystal Chronicles...
