I'm just going to just... you know throw it out there.. Anyone watch it? Seen it? Like it? Hate it?

At first I Thought reviving the series was a stupid idea and the first time I ever saw it I noticed how terrible the art was and how cheap the animation was... My reaction was actually "The hell is that crap. Give me the original:

and I decided to give it a try.

Yeah the art and animation is cheap but tbh, it's a really good show. It's not as kiddy as the original. It's something the family can enjoy. It doesn't have as much magicy mythical stuff as the original, but it's not as all srs as that My Little Pony Tales show...

It's good. It's cute. It made me smile. I like it... and I was just wondering if anyone here has tried it out.

There are pony threads on 4chan almost 24/7, this show is actually really popular (whether /co/ thinks it hurts their image or not). I think it's cute, it's the character design that appeals to me.

idk man it's actually kind of hard to explain why everyone watches this show other than it's cute and it distracts us from our dark and miserable lives. I don't have TV but I'll watch it on livestream sometimes if I'm incredibly bored.

I think it's a neat little cartoon; not what I remember of the old My Little Pony, which I prefer, but... Oh well. Much better than some other choices for kids now-a-days. It does have humor, and some good lessons to learn. :) I don't watch it regularly, though.

This industry is, unfortunately, so filled with utter shit because sadly producers treat kids like the stupid little morons they become from watching those shows.

I remember watching Ben 10 for the first time and I was shocked to discover that this was actually some big franchise rather than some cheap 10-week production as it looked like.
I was also shocked to discover that my nephew was into this shit =/

I actually think this show is kind of cute. The animation style is supposed to echo that of Powerpuff Girls. It's produced by the wife of the guy who created that show, and I think she was also one of the animators for it. She claimed to be a fan of MLP when she was younger and it shows. I think this is aimed at a slightly older audience than what MLP has been in recent years

I've only watched one episode, because cute as it is I can't really get into it. But then, when I watched MLP as a kid I usually watched this:



If you can get past the sea ponies it gets kind of epic, and the villain is like, a demon centaur with orcs at his disposal whose grand scheme was to turn the ponies into evil dragons. :monster:

this show makes me feel stupider just watching it, i am humiliated to think that children actually watch this and society thinks it's ok and not mind-numbingly stupid. there are plenty of cute, silly kid's shows that aren't... horrible.

Young Justice looks to be a good show though, being a DC nerd more things are going to bother me than the average viewer.

Now if you want to look at a horrible show, wreck your eyes on this. Or to save your eyes, just read the comics. Hell, even the 90's show is better than this series. Just stay away!

As for the new pony series, I saw it and it was really cute. I liked it but I wouldn't watch it all the time. I would say it's a bit better than other shows out there.

I just figured a forum about MLP might be more welcoming to discuss MLP.
