God most of the time Pinkie Pie does something she either never explains herself properly or seems to be doing things just for the sake of doing them and ends up being an annoying badger and the way she never shuts up about things I mean okay I guess that's supposed to be part of the charm of the character but sometimes it just comes off as inappropriate
And it's like half of the episodes in the show seem to be fuelled by the ponies' egos or lack thereof

I started watching this show because my friend was like "you remind me of fluttershy" so i decided to give it a whirl and oh my god I absolutely adore it I think I need rehab.

I'm basically in the same boat as Kat. I was never really into girly things - I was always into boy toys but god I really like this show??? It just has a way of putting a gigantic grin on my face and just

it's just so cute and happy

Rishi = Fluttershy? That's so incredibly wonderful, I, I just don't know what to say.

...Other than there are FIM/Dr Horrible vids out there. The casting choices are a bit weird in some of them, IMO, especially Dash as Dr Horrible. In fact, I was actually planning a rescripted, fourth-wall-leaning FIM retelling of Dr Horrible. Twilight would be Dr Horrible, Fluttershy as Penny, and Dash as Captain Hammer. I mentioned this idea to the friend who got me into the show at the time, and referred to Rainbow Hammer.

Then The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well was aired, and said friend told me that Rainbow Hammer was kinda canon.

I just loved Hurricane Fluttershy, for many, many reasons.

Fluttershy has always been my most liked of them all. I have to say, though, that I really love all characters. Actually I like them enough so that even just saying Fluttershy is my favourite doesn't feel right. Because I like the others so much, that I could say they are all my favourite.

But I guess I identify myself a bit more with Fluttershy than I do with the others. But I just love it when she goes with stuff like that:

EDIT: It's really funny, though, because I really identify myself with all of them. Like, seriously.

Rarity, because things have to be done the right way! And always in an organised way, never messy!
Applejack, because I always try to help others (even if sometimes it's inconvenient for me)

I... I don't know. Celestia is one idea, as Twilight looks up to her and sends her letters, while Dr Horrible looks up to Bad Horse and sends him applications. But it seems too obvious. And when I was considering trying to turn you to the Herd (Batman has plans for defeating every superhero if they go rogue, I have plans for getting friends interested in stuff ), I was gonna refer to Nightmare Moon as Bad Horse. But again, it seems too obvious.

As for which we compare ourselves to... IRL I'm kinda like a mix of Twilight and Fluttershy, with Big Mac's inability to shut the hell up ("eeyup"), and the verbal and physical grace of Derpy ("I just don't know what went wrong" = story of my life).

I've only seen the first two episodes of season two and technically that's only one since it was a two-parter.

I've seen the entire first season, though.

No regrets.
