I tossed a vote at Chrono Trigger because I'd so love to play that again too, and with others <3

I should mention that people wanting to play vanilla XII in a Zodiac Age playthrough should be able to just fine. Questions might vary (particularly for chests, some weapons and some boss fights) but it's perfectly doable.

Ah well that's okay then

I figured the regular XII would be fine to play, I just would honestly rather play Zodiac Age next instead, but that requires buying the game, whereas I already have X (and indeed want to play X a bit more right now)
