There's a lot of summons and it's hard to pick one but I do gotta say that FFX Shiva is best Shiva

This was a tough’un, but it’s probably Anima for me, only because I still remember how awe-struck (as well as kinda spooked?? Damn Anima your design is scurry) I was as a youngin’ when you’re first introduced to her. Her backstory is tragic to be sure, but she’s entirely badass as a summon.

This is followed closely by pretty much any variation of the Bahamut. :P

In no particular order

Eden
Diablos
Raiden
Crusader/Warring Triad (Also the Doom/Goddess/Fiend boss versions too)
And by extension: Sephirot/Sophia/Zurvan (FFXIV)

Knights of the Round
Bahamut Zero/Bahamut Fury
Atomos

Ultima (FFXII)
Exdeath/Exodous (FFXII)
Zodiac/Zodiark (FFT/FFXII)
Shemhazai (FFXII)
Chaos (FFXII)

Ravana (FFXIV) (Reminds me of Gilgamesh in FF Agito)

And if Omega Weapon was a summon I'd like him too.

Seriously though, if you haven't seen the Warring Triad in FFXIV, you owe it to yourself.

That reminds me, Anima is supposed to be a design variant of Ultimecia in her "Time Kompressshion" form.

Day 9: Tricky. Plenty of limits hit hard, I tend to like the versatile ones like Quistis and Rikku.

Honourable Mention to Steiner's Trance. He doesn't get any new techniques or gimmicks, he just hits really really hard.

Day 10: FF9 Bahamut. Wow, that was easy.

^What he said. That or the bit where you have to hit the button AT THE EXACT SAME TIME AS BARRET AND TIFA in FF7...

Tifa's fucking limit breaks >_> Could've dealt huge damage but NO, I HAD TO GET A MISS.

I am the wooorst at slot machine-type stuff, both in games and in real life lmao.

Probably the boxing game thing in the Golden Saucer, which seems like a rigged rock paper scissors game.

Least Favorite Minigame?

FFX had two of the worst: Seagull Dodging Chocobo, and Lightning Dodging... I swear those were torture. Most Ultimate Crests were... Ugh.

I also could NEVER do the Parade sequence in FFVII.

I've been playing a lot of IX's Chocobo Hot and Cold and it's winding me up a lot but I feel like that might be mainly cos I have really shitty controllers

I feel like I should exclude Aerith's death from this, because it'd win easily :P. Runners up:

- Whenever Sin appears in FFX generally lead to some visual spectacle, even if they were horrific. Hard to pick my favourite now that I look at them all. I think the FMVs where the sun is low in the sky, and Sin is being dissected and plummets through the clouds and grows wings n' shit... That might be my favourite in the game. Recall being particularly impressed with the visuals. Starting from 1:29 in this clip.
- In FFVIII, Balamb Garden versus Galbadia Garden had a lot of good visuals. Think my favourite can be found at the 5:22 mark of this video. In the game I think you walk/run/float across in the foreground while all this shit is going on in the background. Love layered scenes like that in anything.
- Alexander vs Bahamut in FFIX and related footage was a roller coaster ride of emotions.
- The motorcycle scene leaving Midgar, with the cool music in the background. How could one not get pumped.

The attempted SeeD assassination of Sorceress Edea.
Just an awesome setpiece from start to finish.

When Red XIII finds out about his father.
The music, the howling, the fact that he's still alive, just stone, and cries when Red talks about how honored he is to be his son.
