Exactly! I've got lots of ideas for just a scenario, cause we can really expand the story if they're no longer just restricted to wandering around the Viola basement.
After everyone's current posts are up, we should all have final posts to lead into the new story. [Vargas' plans are gonna have to be majorly brought forward

Timeskip sounds good to me. Maybe Terra's gotten some therapy to fix her crazy.

I didn't spend days of thinking and planning and writing and rewriting and editing and posting when I could have been doing something else. No way. I finish everything I start, especially when it's something like this that involves characters and plot and actual heart and soul put into the thing - sorry to say but it's disgustingly selfish to kill off something that 8 or 9 other people have set aside time and effort for, and contributed greatly towards.
Not cool.
I'll say it plain and simple: So Destrillians is apparently not ours?
I call bullshit.
But I'll tolerate and respect the fact that some of the plotline is not ours. So yeah, a timeskip is in order. New thread would be a good idea, so we can start fresh, more or less - the possibilities are suddenly endless when you don't have four walls to keep the Dessies in, and I want to know what kind of directions we'd be taking it in. Especially seeing as Ronin and Eydin are potential plot devices, and maybe Sierra too now, and then there's a whole world of things that I bet Noen is planning for Vargas and Viola in general.
And for goodness' sake, I had ideas too. Lots of them, and they were thought out in painstaking detail when I could have been doing so, so many other things - things that directly affect my life, like homework and studying for exams, and social affairs with friends that I don't take the time to see often in the first place. And eating dinner. I am not about to allow a closed/discontinued thread and a bunch of good times to be all that's left to show for all our time and effort and everyone's sheer, sheer brilliance.
Like hell Destrillians is going down.

Well personally I was thinking of taking Viola out of the picture and stepping it up a notch to either whoever was sponsoring Viola or some kind of government power. [I'd planned in the original story for Vargas' actions to eventually lead to the company collapsing anyway, and now he and his people would just take off and continue to do as they please.] Was thinking this worked best since again Viola was something from Channy's original scenario.
As for my thoughts on what the Dessie's might be doing, I would have to say being on the run from the new enemies and Vargas who'd possibly be working for them or something like that. Who knows, maybe they aren't the only Destrillians in existance anymore...
But yes, I'm sure everyone has great ideas on where to lead their characters which will make this new RP even better!

If I actually do participate in the timeskip (which I'm still trying to think over) I probably won't be able to use my original character, since after a while it seems to me that Erthys probably wouldn't be the same if Sierra had disappeared, and he'd most likely disappear with her.
My thoughts if there would be a timeskip would be where Viola has been pretty much screwed over but Vargas hasn't given up on the chase, being the driven type and all. It could tie into the higher-up government sponsor and turn Vargas into a 3rd party "rogue" acting on his own to the chagrin of the sponsors who blacklist him, which I think would make things a little more complex for the story.
And again, at the very most I would think of Erthys and Sierra as NPCs to be referenced and cameo'd very distantly, being more of a legacy later on than actual players in the plot. The character I had was a pretty cardboard-cutout character and once I paired him with Sierra as kindred spirits, there probably wasn't going to be any other way I could make him more complex.

If Chanz were to disapprove of a timeskip continuation because it's her 'baby' she can go eat a dick. Everyone here put tons of time into this, saying that it'd be just hers would be both selfish and stupid.

I should imagine that all the Destrillians were scattered about now, but still had the same kind of mental connection as they did previously. Perhaps They're on the run, but attempting to free the new Dessies? I really ain't sure, I shall put up a thread as soon as my post is over.
ALSO NEW DEVELOPMENTS : We're not allowed to use 'Viola, clone idea, idealized weapons per Des' but we are allowed to use Derinium. I told Channy we'd be fine without them, because we have a lot of smart heads here, amirite? Plus, we'll have alot more freedom to write, the concept of being on the run gives alot of artistic license and we aren't confined to
anymore. Let the ideas flow guys, we're so ready to make this better than the original.

Yeah, most of you guys were wanting to drop Viola as the main antagonistic bunch anyway. However, like I said I think Vargas should still play a more significant role once he's not surrounded by a corporate fortress and has made the chase more personal.

Yep, Viola is going down and another antagonist/s will take it's place. Ive got my Ideas for Vargas but mainly him and Circe will still be chasing after the remaining Dessies. (And I'm betting Tennyo will have Dr. Thomas still out there looking for Emma)
Yeah best to stick with just them being referenced, which is pretty much what Eve will be in this, tho she might have more of a role due to having some sort of connection with Emma and Spirit Smex with Terra.
Well Viola is getting the shaft so that one's taken care of. And I concur with satsugaikaze, please elaborate on 'clones'. My thoughts were either having brand new dessie's which might be developed by the new enemies or even creating something artificial like either a drug or implant that can simulate a Dessie's power in a normal person (Vargas might do this...).
...idealized weapons per Des? Was that in referance to Violas original plan to use them as the perfect weapon? If so I doubt the new dessies would be inteded as that, but rather as a means to take on the ones on the loose [Assassins if you will], who also arent planned as being used as weapons since this new enemy wants to off them, and Vargas is probably gonna be shifting to creating machines far worse than the ol' combat drones.

The old Dessies can't just be erased out of the plot, so ofc they'll be referenced and stuff - it'd be a bit weird if they forgot all about the comrades they'd spent years with.
I think clones were a plot device of Channy's for later in the RP, say like, Emma would face a clone of Emma etc. Specialised weapons means like Terra has a huge fucking axe because her element is earth and so on. Kapeesh?

I have no idea what you are talking about or why Terra would have a huge axe, but ok, no ridiculously oversized weapons.

So are they likely to be spread out all over everywhere or more likely to be in one area? Would it be logical for some to live together?

I'd say they'd be spread out over everywhere, maybe limited to something like within a country or small continent for now, and yeah I reckon it makes sense for some of them to stick together. [Choice of the writers of course]
