And yeah during development I began to notice that a lot of people were kind of loners and everyone's first post included a massacre of some sort so I figured I would be different.

Also I realized I had a lot of formatting errors and didn't color some text that should have been colored, so I went and did that. I also added a few sentences to the paragraph where Emma talks about raising the mice.

Which actually gave me a thought, after exams, you should/could/idesperatelywanttosee little comics put in Dessie form. Done in the same style as the Terra one so no huge effort but huge lulz.

Also, after much deliberation I've come to the conclusion that Dan shouldn't use Gravity. Gravity is simply the manipulation of matter, whereas Darkness and Light are more or less the absence of matter. To say that Ronin can manipulate matter with gravity would also be pretty much giving Sierra the same powers as well, considering they are near the same... just one is black and one is white.

Also, manipulating Gravity and manipulating Darkness are two very different ideas. It gives Ronin way too much power over two different things.

Darkness could be the absense of matter in terms of something like a black hole. Light is definitely not the absense of matter as it definitely takes matter to create light.

I basically gave her powers over life in general, not just nature, but any organism more complicated than a tree is too much for her. She couldn't even manage a tiny mouse without heaps and heaps of Distrum injected into her system.

I makes sense in my mind, at least. The potential is there but she just doesn't have the power. Possible that she never will. At least not this point in time.

It all ties in with her being able to sense life energy.

It sounds good in retrospect but it has the ability to go to far and into Godmodding, so it's something we'll have to keep an eye on and be careful with.

Oh I don't plan to Godmod with this, no way. I had a little tiny idea in mind involving the other people I've created as part of Emma's personal story. That is all only if the RP story as a whole moves in that direction. If we never get to a place where it happens then so be it. I'm flexible.

But yes, as I said she couldn't even get the mouse right without serious side effects. You can make a plant do what you want it to and grow in anyway you wish, but more complex organisms like animals or humans or even insects all have a set design (for lack of a better word). You can't just make them grow with limbs all over like a tree.

EDIT: Plus I'm not understanding the use of gravity in darkness. Gravity isn't darkness, that's like saying darkness gives the power to manipulate matter. I understand darkness to exist as a kind of 'nothing-ness', therefore an abscence of matter, and things that dont have any matter cannot have a gravitational field. Yes, it can disintegrate things and destroy the essence of matter, but gravity just doesn't seem to figure in the physics of it all. Besides, isn't gravity a whole other element, therefore being a totally different kettle of fish?
Therefore confusion.

What is Darkness really? Can you assign a definitive description to its existence that would really exclude such an extension as gravity? I don't see gravity as an element unto itself, it's really more of a 'force without form' so to speak, an intangible, unseen force, which is included in my interpretation of the Darkness power. It's difficult to apply the laws of physics to an "element" (darkness) for which there are no applicable established laws.

Also, I would agree that light radiation can be used to manipulate matter, think of lasers. Sierra wouldn't be able to manipulate in the same way as Ronin could with gravity, but there's certainly a flexibility for the light element in that respect which can and imo should be exploited. Everyone thinks of light as simply bright, white and visible, but light encompasses a MUCH broader spectrum of radiation, i.e. infrared, radiowaves, even gamma radiation. Just as I have icluded gravity as part of my repertoire, I believe you can use the full array of light radiation for Sierra's abilities.

Also, using gravity doesn't make Ronin super powerful because that's still a part of his elemental powers and thus he is still subject to the natural migraines and such.

Exactly. I didn't intend for it to be a power Ronin can use so freely as his other abilities. In fact if you read my additions, such an ability is really only a theory at this point. I had actually planned for it to happen, eventually, after Ronin had already reached Derinium, and much later in the RP as well. Not to mention Ronin would be incapacitated for quite a while and even Distrum would be ineffective at reviving him completely. Besides, it's not even an ability Ronin even knows of.

Anywho, I think I'll need to see a bit more opposition to the gravity inclusion than simply the same two people who always oppose me. I'll remove it if I see one more member with an honest (and uninfluenced) objection. However, I have an idea for a new ability that makes a bit more sense than gravity, that will replace gravity...but you don't want me to include it as it really will make Ronin ridiculously powerful, at least as far as the laws of physics are concerned.

I'm not saying Ronin could create a supermassive black hole like the type that swallow entire galaxies, but something similar on a MUCH smaller scale, with only enough power to consume a limited part of its surroundings before it inevitably grows weaker and dies out.

Creating a star isn't exactly the opposite equivalent of creating a black hole tbh.

If it's such a problem, I can replace gravity with dark matter (anti matter)...but in terms of physics, a single atom of dark matter coming into contact with a single atom of normal matter, would level the entire Violan facility and kill everyone in it, because of the interaction (negation) and subsequent massive energy discharge that results.

I'll be honest, because I haven't fully read the tweaks she made. I'm not exactly sure what she changed other than what she vaguely told me. It was easier to check yours out cause you copy pasted what you added. If she did the same so I know what she added/changed because atm.. I just don't know.

I just think that gravity is a totally seperate element to darkness, as ice is to water.
Thus it could be exploited to a much further degree if someone took it on as a seperate element.
I know for a fact someone else is interested in the element.

And besides, Channy is the game mod. Her decisions are final, and even with your authority as RP mod, you should not be able to veto something that threatens a prospective RP character/candidate.
