Blarg, been busy.

Anyways, about the combat drones, there are a number of different models, however the ones the Dessie's will encounter first are big hulking machines that run on treads (bigger than people but not so massive they cant get around). The upper part of it's 'body' kinda resembles a human's with massive shoulders, and it's 'arms' are a pair of miniguns, and it has a 'head' which houses various sensors and scanners (it can still function if it's severed, but it has a harder time tracking targets). It's capable of launching tear gas and can also have a grenade or rocket launcher mounted within a hidden compartment in it's 'chest'.

These things sound like a bit much and they are, they were designed by Vargas's department so that says it all. Also remember they're well armoured and wont go down as simply as soldiers (or hesitate if attacking), so alternatives to tackeling them head on would be wise.

This should be enough for now, I'll get around to sketching something later on. Also Channy I'm still sorting out my idea for offing Eve but I'll let you know soon about it.

ha ha I thought about such things, but that would be too easy - you gotta crack the shell before you can get to the nuts inside~ (Translation: gotta breach the armor or seals to try that )

Yeah, that's right; pick up after yourself missy. There's only one I in this here RP and it's not a first-person pronoun. (Don't even think that makes sense grammatically, calling it that...)

I SAID I'M COMING. XD And Channy said a few pages back that I should continue anyway; I've got an idea for how to continue in place so it's all good - I just have to write it now is all. I MIGHT have it done tonight, as a matter of fact.

However considering she's met up with Idris and Eydin, can either of you guys just have her separated from you by some means in your next post? (The combat drones are coming now so that's a suggestion) then I'll take it from there.

Awww, she's adorable! This'll make it easier for me to draw, too; visual reference is always easier to go by than verbal/written. Also leaves less room for mess ups. XD

And also: This plan I've got for my post? It kind of involves seeing/sensing/etc Eve die. So hmm; how to pull this off? I'm trying to acknowledge Eve for a brief moment, and get to Emma (FINALLY) in this post but it seems Eve's already on her way and because Vargas is going to get her I assume he'd get her somewhere near Emma's confines, which is where Idris (+Eydin) would be going at the same time. This = Dilemma.
And how exactly am I supposed to take what QoS wrote, anyhow? The way her post sounds is as if Eve spoke to Idris during my last post which means I'd technically have had to rewrite it to include her, and... gosh, difficulties. Should have expected difficulties. xD

Yep, but first she's gotta get close to them (Have fun trying to pull a Neo against hundreds of rounds) and then she's gotta peel off the armor to hurt them (They will swat people with the 'arms'), and I bet the headache afterwards would not be plesant

But still I'd say Idris would probably have the easiest time of the lot when dealing with these.

Well...Vargas won't be directly offing them but I'll deal with this stuff later.

And about Eve, you can keep her with you as long as you want if you wanna use her for something, just I need her separated by the end of your post. (She can be anywhere I'm just gonna set it up so she winds up at the location where it's all gonna go down).

Yeah, I had mentioned somewhere, probably MSN, that Ronin be captured since Meteo's departure is for an indefinite amount of time. This and the NPC idea can be combined for future plot twists for, say, potential brainwashing of recaptured Destrillians. Same for QoS' character.

Honestly I'm at a loss at what to do though. It's clear to me (at least) that QoS won't be returning... but while I heard that Meteo's leave is indefinite, I've also heard that he's practically lost the will to RP and should he return to TLS he won't be returning to Destrillians. Especially after I (and someone else) have ruined the RP experience for him, I guess the e-dramas runs too deep and can't get over it.

I haven't come up with a suitable plot twist to kill Ronin off with so I suppose I'll have to come up with some sort of restraining plot in my next post. I'll try work on it when I get home from work.

No actually, shit irl had begun hitting the fan (i.e. getting laid off from work, health insurance issues, bills, etc.). There are serious matters that need sorting, and quite frankly (and I'd think understandably), management of an infant RP section on an FF forum, and indeed RPing in general quickly became not so important to me. There are also other interests in my life I'd rather focus on now, which would leave little to no real time to concentrate on RPing to the best of my ability. It's not so much that I've lost the will to RP, but other priorities irl have effectively smothered the flame of inspiration within, since I'm allocating my energies and efforts elsewhere. At first I believed I could handle all of it together, but over time I realized I was stretching my mental resources unnecessarily thin, and that wasn't fair to myself, and especially to all of you, who deserve a more dedicated leader with enough free time to pay proper attention to the forum. I'm not leaving TLS, I'll be around occasionally, posting here and there, though not very active.

You may do with Ronin what you will, as much as it pains me to surrender a character of my own creation, I have faith in satsu's literary abilities to make it suitably epic. I can't say when or if I'll get back into the groove, so I don't want to hold the rest of you up.

I still have a passion for RPing, but times change, and sometimes it's best to move on for a greater good.

I don't know. I mean, it's not like I haven't done an RP where someone leaves for an indefinite period of time, but when Dan says he won't be returning to Destrillians... what other plan is there for Ronin? I don't want to control him and I certainly don't want anyone else controlling him. Now that he's awakened already I just don't come to any other conclusion other than offing him.... But I'm gonna leave him alone for a while, hopefully a plot twist can revolve around him somehow.
