I honestly think I have never felt so much for Cloud's character before that moment. That scene makes me care about both Cloud and Denzel, which is a good thing.

I actually like the way his pores are showing and how his teeth are sort of uneven. 8D

And I've always been wondering if those were scars or tattoos under his eyes, but they look more like scars now.

That's too red to be a scar. And too perfect. I say tattoos.

I honestly think I have never felt so much for Cloud's character before that moment. That scene makes me care about both Cloud and Denzel, which is a good thing.

I'd tend to lean towards tattoos as well, although real tattoos aren't indented like that.

It's green dagnabbit Lifestream always looked to have a touch of cyan, but it was definately green. It's quite blue in that shot, yes, but in all the other shots of Lifestream in ACC it still green as ever.

*On a more serious...ish note* Eh, they make the skin look perfect because it's easier to animate when the characters don't have a bunch of birthmarks (minus Tseng's, and you can't really forget where his is). Not to mention the hero looses "coolness" points (-.-) if they have any kind of blemishes. (Scars are not considered blemishes, they make the characters look more cool and "human". See Squall from FFVIII. They also add onto the story or back story.)

Even if it is harder, no one wants to watch a hero run around saving the world with skin discoloration. I suppose that was my point.

*Coughs* I must admit when I first saw Advent Children (it was my first encounture with Final Fantasy) the thing that drew me in was the animation. Then I got so curious about everything that was going on (because I didn't get ANY of it) that I HAD to look it up... one thing lead to another and I was hook on FFVII.
