AMV/GMV video competition

I thought it would be kind of fun if we had AMV/GMV competitions? Kind of like beta battles and ICs on Youtube. We'd choose themes and then create videos using Anime or Games (or even movies or TV series) to match those themes. And then other members not a part of the events could judge and vote on the video they like the most. c: We could choose our own songs or for "Round 2" or whatever, we could even nominate songs and then vote for which one most members would like us to use.

Idk I love vidding it's a good stress reliever and I really *love* seeing videos that other people create so I thought it would be a fun idea? Let me know what you think. >uO

Oh~ and don't worry if you think you're not 'skilled' or 'talented' or whatever. Lots of people use effects and masking on Youtube lately, but all it is ... is show. I like watching a video that incorpiorates some sort of emotion into it, and if we have themes with a lot of different people viewing them, there would be a lot of different preferences and stuff so if you have a video making program (even WMM) please consider it! and if you're interested in Sony Vegas PM me

Absolutely! Do you think that judges should have criteria? Like usually on Youtube there's a scoring sheet and then whoever has the most points overall wins. or we could just stick to voting. c:

aki wanted the song 'animal I have become' to be used, but I was thinking that the next thing we do after this round of themes (such as romance, betrayal, etc) would be song choices which is where that would fall into.

So far no one has posted an actual theme in the thread. xD

Aww, you think so? I think it's interesting to see the different ways people interpret songs and use them to create something. But maybe we could vote two songs (or more depending on how many people join) then, and then two people could vid to one song, two people vid to the other song. (or something like that xD)
