Ew, no.

If Nintendo has games you wanna play

Buy a fucking Nintendo console.

It's not rocket science.

I'm not buying a Wii U to play Mario and Zelda, it's access to their previous titles I want. Emulation will do for now I suppose.

Wishing for a hardware-software monopoly on gaming would be incredibly short-sighted at best and dangerous for the diversity of the industry at worst.

Nintendo are (finally) starting to put out compelling reasons for purchase for their console, despite the usual preferences of current-gen gamers. Their only real problem was their terrible marketing on release and a complete dearth of any meaningful games library up until this year. The 3DS is selling a bazillion units and moving tons of software off shelves too, so I don't think there's any real danger of Nintendo falling into financial trouble despite the perception of the home console appearing to be a little shitty.
It's also nice to see the WiiU having some backwards compatibility.

What I gathered the other day is that Nintendo has so much money, they could afford to lose money for another decade without going bankrupt, :monster:.

Finally getting around to playing the first Bayonetta, finishing a chapter a day

I either suck or the halo supply is sparse, because I am just now able to buy the first 60,000 gun, spending the majority of my money on health pops

I don't think the game is impossible, but it does make you move. Those claw angels that zip around are getting ridiculous. The fact that I keep triggering Panther Mode is not helping because I use the dodge button too rapidly.

Yeah, the items are there for if you absolutely need them, generally. Next fight, try to just dodge until you learn patterns. That goes a long way to getting better, being able to recognize attack patterns.

And I assume you're talking about
Grace_and_Glory_3.jpg
, the 2 enemies that EVERYONE hates :P Don't feel bad about getting whupped by them.

I have days where I demolish them and the other times well I rage.

Urgh the claw dudes are the worst, :monster:. I guess that could be mentioned as a flaw of the game: nonlinear difficulty.

Also, don't hesitate to use the chapter select and grind some of the earlier levels for halos. Sort of a hack is to
go to level 6, head backwards (towards the camera) right away, grab the 4000 or so halos in the chest, then restart the level

Man, learning to use Dodge Offset properly is really essential in this to get good.

Getting in a Wicked Weave combo gainst Gracious and Glorious becomes almost impossible otherwise and they just kick your ass. :monster:

I have trouble remembering to hold the attack button while dodging though. It's different from Metal Gear Rising where you could simply continue the combo after dodging (although the game did not tell you that was actually a thing :P)

Current theory: Considering the hair style, new summoning ritual (she no longer loses her clothes) and the voice actor change, I think we're playing as the grown up Cereza we saved in the first game. The Bayonetta series has never shied away from timey-wimey plot elements, so anything's possible. Maybe the timeline splits each time there's a change to preserve continuity?
