So there are a lot of insanely fun places in the wonderful world of games. With it being summer time, it's often fun to imagine the places I could be spending my time if I didn't live in the middle of hickville nowhereshire Virginia.
Here are a few of the places I would love to be able to visit if they existed IRL.
Gold Saucer
Obvious, but like this is the dream isn't it? The FF14 variant is okay, but nothing beats FF7's original beauty with its roller coaster, battle arena, video games and chocobo races. And a haunted house hotel? Come on that's epic.
Costa Del Sol
Another one from FF7 and FF14, but this one I think FF14s variant is better. Not that I don't like the south american style coastal village but I think the natural tropical look of the one in FF14 is better. Sure no Shinra Villa to buy, but Master Gerugeru's dancing girls make up for it!
Treno
If I were an aristocrat and had money to blow on the various entertainment of this charming town in the mountains, I definitely would pay it a visit. The auction house and card tables are nice and the seedier attractions such as the monster trainer dude are nice little added bonuses. But as lame as this might sound, the architecture of Treno is what fascinates me the most. I just lave the layout of the city and would love to see it realized.
Fun City
From Star Ocean: The Second Story, this town literally has Fun in its name. Whether you would attend the Iron Chef competition, fight for your money in the battle arena or visit the bunny race tracks this place has an almost sickeningly upbeat feel to it. Like Disneyland- with monsters.
There's a lot more awesome places in the land of gaming, but I don't want to take them all. Tell me where you'd love to Vacation!
