Yes; that title is applied to users who have at least 9000 posts. There used to be a condition where you needed to be a member for x amount of period, but it doesn't look like Xf supports that extra rule. You're at just over 5K posts atm, so, keep at it

We've got four admins at least that can change names in multiple timezones, that should be more than enough

AFAIK it wasn't possible, or in other words, vB had a weird system where you could give mods specific admin access iirc, which was a bit weird, just merge the permission system or something idk.

It's really lame how someone with no posts and hasnt been active in years can hog up a username indefinitely.
