This isn't so much a name change as a name reversion, as (a) it's a name I've used before and (b) it's the more usual alias of the John Smith I'm currently naming myself after.

It seems most of the rest of the staff doesn't give a toss about recent names being in the aka field as long as the most known names are in there, and I certainly can't enforce standards that no one on staff is going to enforce. So while I'd certainly like her to put her most recent name in to lessen confusion, I can't demand it. Scott, on the other hand, still hasn't done it more than a week after the name change, and that is problematic.
