Can someone change my username?

That's probably true :( At least they're both using usernames they used previously.

Why is my name gone red?!:O Is there a reason? Can someone change it back to the default colour if its not too much trouble please?

It's because I fixed the postbit so donators and others in usergroups with coloured usernames can use their own font colours for their usernames. But yeah, I'll fix it, though you can just edit it yourself.

edit: oh, looks like you already did.

I checked my CP and it said my user font was silver? and then I just deleted that and saved it. Thanks, I was just worried that I'd fiddled with something and broken it

Weird that it would come out as a dark red then. I hope I didn't screw something up.

Well don't worry about it on my account, even if it does change colour again I'm not that bothered :)

You need a hash tag before the colour value. So it should be #9B30FF, not 9B30FF.

Ya I tried both and wasn't getting any result. :P

Edit: I have added the # now and still don't see a colour change. It's not a big deal, and tbh the colour I picked was just something to test it out, but if it can get working that would be pretty cool.

Evidently it's inserting the post formatting for your usergroup even though the code explicitly tells it not to. Unfortunately vBulletin conditionals are an often illegible mess. I will take a look at why it is messing up for your usergroup (usergroupid 23) and not mine later. Perhaps it's based on primary usergroup rather than display usergroup in which case I will have to figure out what the code for display usergroup is.

Edit: Yep I think it's based on primary usergroup. For now I've just switched your primary usergroup to donators and that seems to have fixed it. Maybe I'll just go through and edit everyone else accordingly.

Another question.

When I have 'display user formatting' turned off, mine goes back to the donator yellow. However, I notice a lot of people suddenly have different colours that are still visible, such as: Estheim, Serah Farron, Cloud, Feferi. Is this another donator user group issue? I'm noticing your formatting doesn't show up as well, and goes back to the normal blue, so I'm going to guess it is.

That is strange. I probably forgot to include a tag to disable formatting somewhere. I'm guessing our colours don't show up because we're in a different conditional, or something. I'll take a look at it later when I'm not horribly sleep deprived and am therefore more prone to actually being able to parse vBulletin's conditionals correctly.

To be honest, I like seeing the names in different colours, I just disable it for the actual posts. Would it be possible to give an option like that? 'Disable ALL formatting', or 'disable formatting in posts'?

I've always been donator color, even with the hex code in my username color field. Weird.

Also, I saw Brooke was this interesting purpley color a moment ago, but now she's back to donator gold o_o

She just removed her colour, I believe. I'll fix your username thing.

I could do that but I don't want to overrun the forum with options and make things incomprehensible to new users. I guess it probably wouldn't be too much to have a different option for usernames though.
