The problem with Jenova is she has no personality or character development, or at least none that we know of.

Yeah, she's kinda Sephiroth's puppet. But she still would be cool to fight as and could look as human as you want, being a shapeshifter and all.

In all fairness look how much they humanised Ultimecia's Griever Form and Jecht's Aeon form. It's not beyond the realms of possibility to imagine they could whip something up for Jenova.

As kick ass as Gabranth & his all kinds of awesome fighting style is, I actually would've liked it if they had just included Ashe vs Vayne as part of the main storyline.

I didn't find it that lacking actually , but I DID want to see Safer Sephiroth with better graphics.... I know that wouldn't work , because I can't imagine him fighting.... since Sephiroth's first form is a 'medium-range'(No sir, this isn't SHORT range! O_o) Swordfighter....

Like , what? With his huge-ass wing? I don't see how he could combo with it without looking lame....
I understand the point , that his One-Winged Angel form is more "mobile" , but...
But he could at least change during the SuperNova animation ... (Dammit, Kefka got his God form! )

And of course I don't mind Tina/Terra(At least one female heroine) there , but.... is she really the main character of VI? O_o(You start as her..... Though the story doesn't quite center on her point of view x))

Otherwise, I found it really appealing.
Though I must say , that the "secret characters" dissapointed me a little....
The reason... I am pretty sure somone already pointed that out.

Terra's definitely the closest thing FFVI has to a main character for the first half of the game. The second half doesn't really have a main character, though I guess Celes could be considered its main character since she's the character you wake up as after the year's gap in story.

Terra is also, obviously, the chick right there in the game's logo, and she has an obvious EX Mode, and adds another female to the cast. She was the obvious choice, IMO.

Makkusu: They had to come up with something that wouldn't change the character model or gameplay too drastically, like they did with Golbeza's and Ultimecia's summons, or Exdeath's final form basically being a texture swap.

That said, I really wish that Sephiroth's wing (in both Dissidia and AC) had been modeled after his Safer form's wing, like it was in that statue at the Square-Enix shop, instead of just being a generic black wing.

And ..... Yeah , ExDeath would look like a giant pile of Sh*t in Final Form so I kinda predicted that...

Also, I just realised something.....
It won't be a dissapointment in character , rather a dissapointment in mechanics of the gameplay
For instance - Both Sephiroth and Cloud have infinite combos, so do most of the sword fighters(I just saw one guy on YT just comboing the shit out of the AI and not even letting it recover. No I won't say the combination, it will spoil your fun with the game...REALLY)

I mean its okay and has its good points, but compared to the other FF villain transformations and his more elegant and whole One winged form in AC...Safer Sephiroth looks like something that the Umbrella Corporation shat out.

But having 6 wings makes him a Seraphim , not a ONE winged angel, which is kinda badass

And you have a point here, One-winged Sephiroth may be elegant , but you don't get that feeling that you're fighting something BIG. Not big as in Proud Clod, but big as in......... Chuck Norris.... Oh Come on, That's DAMN INTIMIDATING o_o

Seriously , it just seems like you're fighting a beign much higher in hierarchy of living organisms than you...It just screams "You're screwed" your way....

That's pretty much how I felt when I first battled him....
But man , watching SuperNova tearing the Solar System while the "Veni Veni Venias" bit came up was quite a scare for me back then....*Remiscenes of beign an annoying kid.....* *Stops remiscening*

Yes it works.
No you can't recover.
Pray they fix it for the US version.....

Well it's not really the size. It's the fact he has wings up his butt, has no legs, and has only one arm, with this big, weird wing grafted where his right arm should be. XDDD

It just...seems so bizarre and malformed!

But yeah, him doing Super Nova and stuff is awesome.

I always thought Safer Sephiroh was so legless and malformed was because I saw the body of Sephiroth preserved in the Northern Cave appeared to be cut in half

Yeah, that's the exact reason. When Cloud tossed him into the mako in the Nibelheim Reactor, while he drifted beneath the planet through the Lifestream, his legs dissolved. And when he was reborn through the Reunion and absorbing some of the lifestream, he replaced his legs with wings

Yeah. He was tossed into the lifestream and because of that, part of his body dissolved, and he had to slow regenerate himself piece by piece through Jenova cells. Hence why he can't get the Black Materia himself and has to have his copies do it for him.

It wouldn't have worked in DIssidia, but I like Safer Sephiroth. I think it looks a lot better than many of the Final Fantasy transformations. Many of them are damn near unrecognizable, Safer made him look freaking divine. With his hair flowing through the halos and what not. I have the concept art on my wall actually Looked cooler than Bizarro Sephiroth, that's for sure. Him and Kefka, I think, have the best endgame appearence.

Honestly, my favorites are ExDeath's and Kefka's, in terms of appearance.

Neo ExDeath revealing himself as the amalgamation of all the horrors and evils that were sealed in the Great Tree of Moore, fused with the void is a pretty fucked up image. I mean if you stare at it long enough, it looks like something you'd expect to see out of Hellraiser. Demons, corpses, half naked women, some weird guy on the side, and just....it looks fucking crazy. I would love to see how they rendered it in next generation graphics.

And Kefka's angelic form is truly awesome looking but I also love the fighting you do with the weird...tower/monster thing. As if you're fighting your way through heaven to reach the crazy God of Magic himself.

And then there's Cloud of Darkness cause she's hot.

Going back to the leg thing, yeah. His body dissolved in the Lifestream and was reforming in that crystal in the Great Northren Cave. I can't remember if it was that just his lower torso disolved, or if it's that the cells from his legs hadn't "reunited" yet.

As for Sephiroth’s true self, when he fell inside the Nibel Mako Reactor it dissolved in the Lifestream, but over the course of five years his body reconstructed itself in the Northern Crater where the Lifestream concentrates as he bided his time for his revival.

Nothing about his legs, specificaly.



And I like Safer Sephiroth's appearance. All the white wings, together with the black one and the hollow, give him a very divine and imposing look. And then you add that heavenly scenario from the final battle, and One Winged Angel playing in the background... It just looks great! I mean, it gives the impression that Sephiroth already absorbed all the Lifestream of the planet and became an actual god.

Also, it would've been nice to see both Shadow from FFVI & Kain from FFIV. Those two going at it in a cinematic replay would've been awesome.

I wish they had put Basch in, but at least Gabranth got in; for a while I was worried FFXII wasn't going to get represented at all. Gilgamesh would've worked well, too, I think. Other than those two, I think Beatrix would've been cool to see, but it's not like she had any chance of getting put in the game.

I know FFXII wasn't really the most popular FF to fans, despite it being a great game (IMO), but I was bummed when he didn't make it (Gabranth won't do).
