I got an email today from Xebiahan, a Chinese young lady living in the UK that sent me the following e-mail (full of praise and lurve, <3):

Hi there!

I'm Daisy from China and I'm addicted to Final Fantasy VII and its derivative compilation works over than ten years.

On one occasion I heard about your website from my friend, when I logged on it I found the article about DEEPGROUND ORGANIZATION which I've been looking for several years, it solved almost all puzzles bothered my in last 8 years. I was (Actually I still am) so grateful for all works you guys have done. I believe that if these essays could be read by other thousands of FF7 fans in China, they will be crazy about that. And all the essays will contribute a lot to relevant study on Final Fanatsy VII as well :)

So I'm here to make a rude but sincerely request, can I translate the essay 'the darkness of Shinra - Deepground's history Revealed' and the fanfiction 'Kids are alright' into Chinese and post them on my personal Blog? I will highlight thelifestream website address and the first version(Japanese into English) translators' names.

Meanwhile I will send my blog address and reader's feedbacks(if there's some, to be honest most of my reader they just did 'liked' but did not make comment ;( ) to you.

BTW I really admire you guys could find someone has the same hobby and 'sense of values' to create a fan website together. I've donated $50 as 'a feedback gift' LOL.

Hope all is well for you guys.

I've replied with a preliminary answer that we'd love this to happen and we'd even do some promotion and things on TLS itself - I'm sure everyone's in agreement to that.

Discuss. :monster:

I am absolutely fine with Daisy translating my DG article. All I would ask in return is TLS.net to get the credit for the info but for a link to my own project (www.facebook.com/finalfantasyviiunofficialnovelisation) to appear somewhere in the article. I hope that's fair.

PS I'd also like to thank Daisy for her request as the article has been translated several times on various websites over the years but she is the first to ask permission.

That's really kind of you to allow me to translate your article.
It helps me a lot on study in the Compilation of FF7 especially for Dirge of Cerberus(as well as your FB page, today I finally know that's your page LOL). I almost forever missed those valuable information about DGO as I cannot play the LOST EPISODE in 2006 when I was in China.(TBH the first time I saw your article 'Useful Links to All Things FFVII' I almost cried out)

Meanwhile, dear S&G, here is another serious problem I have to make double apologies to you, People's Republic of China Government has banned
Chinese netizens to access Facebook, so even though I put your Facebook address in the article, I'm afraid there will be few people can actually log in your FB page:aah:

However, in my opinion your 'unofficial novel' is really a good way to recall all those fantastic moments in FF7, that is something needed by my blog readers. After all SE didn't release any useful info about FF7 these year except FFVII FOR PS4 which make all people mad :'( So anyway I will put you FB page in the translation as if possible I would like to provide more 'translation service' for you if you would like your masterpieces to be shown to Chinese readers.

Forgive me for such a lot rubbishes and THANK YOU AGAIN.

This sounds like a great idea :)

So ashamed to ask a stupid question...
Could I get the Donator title as my left block looks really empty?
And where can I apply for that ... should I post my donation transcript?:quote:

Nah, I just needed to do some administration here - thanks for the reminder, :monster:. Should be up in a couple minutes.
