He's actually referring to 'Brainiac 5' from the 31st century of the DC universe. He's basically a friendly version of 20-21st century Brainiac. And since they are "Brain interactive constructs" and basically androids they are naturally asexual.
Something I envy, mind you.

I actually watched all episodes of the Devil May Cry animé. Boring and stale as heck.

It seems like they just can't settle on one personality for Dante, judging from what I've seen through both the animé and gameplay cutscenes.
Never really dwelled into the games themselves though.

The supervillains are inside us, and the only way to destroy them is to alter our brains and genetic make-up. Until then we are superimposed by nature to live boring and meaningless lives, sometimes descending into supervillainy as a result.
