Yeah, so, lol wut. Action was good, too much story. Oum's got some fucked up fetish with bloody unkillable chicks too, and chain bondage. And probably necrophilia.

And if he wants to add a story, at the very least he could've made it make some sense. And not make it so it looks like some funky trailer to something that'll take twenty seasons to explain.

Guy should quit trying to make a story, or gtfo.

Some of the transitional animation between movements looks stiff as well as the walking.

I don't get all this DoA stuff and think he should have stuck to short action with a basic story (and make it even shorter, because Haloid was too long as well).

I don't mind Monty's direction towards something more story driven, the real problem is that everyone had already seen all the action in these videos; those screenings he had a month back or so were seen by everyone through YouTube.

Had it not been for that, I think we would have appreciated Dead Fantasy III-V a lot more. Hopefully Monty will learn that a preview is not supposed to show 90% of the material, and he'll figure out better ways to tell the story.

Story isn't over. If the plot revealed all of the secrets as it went it would be boring.

The problem is the "story" is a joke and nothing more than a distraction from what people really want to see, which is badass choreography featuring iconic characters.

Looks like they're aiming for a Ryu vs Cloud fight though.

I don't fault him for wanting to give a background story though. It is sort of like fanfiction, except it would be something like a year of non stop work to get one chapter done. It was better without him trying to inject plot into it, but if he wants to try his hand at it- why wouldn't he?
